but people used to warn each other of new blogs, and now we don't, and I hate that. We should go back to good manners. |

Considering his usual “anything can happen once you are in” stance, it’s anything but surprising... and can you imagine; yeah sorry guys i dont think you can win squat i want a high draft pick... lol way to make your players like u |

They would really need to go on a run for the pick to be really bad.
Timmins has to do a better job in the first round anyway. |

Hains: Coming Soon...Well, Eventually...
The Commissionner made an announcement yesterday and here is what that means for the Habs. - Karine Hains
I get this is an exceptionnal situation, that they cannot please everyone, that nothing is perfect.... but the though that a team like PIT could win the lottery (if they lose the best of 5) is completely idiotic.
That's the main concern I have beside playing hockey in July.
Otherwise I like that 24 team format with a by for the top4 on each side. Going forward, play a 72 game season and keep that format (but with a best of 7 for the first round). No problem.
Because lets face it, 82 regular season games.... That's a lot.
Nothing like playoffs hockey imo. So shorten the season a bit, accept more teams and play one extra round of playoffs hockey.
Then if a team takes part to the first round, they cannot win the lottery. It's one or the other. So we would be left with only 8 teams for the lottery. (once Seattle joins in) |

pretty sure you got that one wrong. Those two teams won't play a best of 5.
