Just might as well change his name to Rodney Dangerfield, cause Wheeler gets no respect

Hey let me tell ya. Blake Wheeler gets no respect. He once wrote a love letter to his English teacher. She corrected it!

Did I just read that Michael Stone is a STAPLE on the Flames defense and a very consistent two-way guy??

Hmm, were you aware that he was a healthy scratch for long stretches this season. He played just 33 games and was passed on the depth chart by several young d-men.

But he's ranked #4, ahead of Jeff Petry???

Wheeler right now by a substantial margin.

Dahlin will be the better of the two in the long run.

So there are ONLY 4 people on this list better than Dahlin? And I'm not even considering young guys like Hughes, DeAngelo, Makar, Chabot.

We get that you like Dahlin, but to call him top 5 today is a bit crazy. But you also ranked Michael Stone ahead of Jeff Petry so...yeah.

Brandon Montour should be on this list, he is transitioning to the Sabers as a leader on that blueline and helping other players flourish. The Sabers are in a rough state but he is a stabilizing force there and that takes skills.

Wheeler is a superstar so having him in slot #2 at this point in his career with a potential superstar is silly....

Rasmus Dahlin has 40pts in 59 games with the Buffalo (frank)ing Sabres.

Let that sink in.

Forget about the future: Dahlin > Wheeler right now.

wait Rasmus Dahlin a top 5 defenseman in the NHL today?

hoooooold the (frank) up a minute here.

Kid is good and has a ton of potential, but right now I'm not convinced he's even the best defenseman from his own draft class.

Dahlin also gets less 5-on-5 ice time per game than Henri Jokiharju.
