I used to vote for the left, but as an independent I find this angry, browbeating, hate laced finger pointing approach to political discourse that has spawned from this past election and social media, very undesirable. Its getting old.

I am real tired of tribally minded group thinking leftists forcing identity politics down everyone throats, and peacocking some self envisioned moral high ground. I guess most of your are just obtuse to the fact they merely do that to troll for votes from various groups. I don't know if you have noticed, but women and minority groups are getting pretty sick of a bunch of apathetic old white politicians telling them what they should think, and believe, and downplaying their ability to function in society to somehow be their 'savior' when in reality they just need good politicians and an economy they can get a good job in, the same as any American.

The Republicans aren't any better constantly bringing God into Government affairs where they both should be unilaterally accommodating everyone regardless of age, sex, religious beliefs, etc. All Americans should be held in the same respects as any other one. It is not a difficult concept. But they can't help themselves.

Politics is about policy. We all benefit from good policy. We need politicians who will stop with the ideological nonsense and start governing for the whole community. Look at the way they have politicized a pandemic. Extremely inappropriate, yet Pelosi tried to add all that pork, the media constantly casts aspersions about how it is being handled, and Trump can't stop self recommendations to be intertwined into his briefings. None of that helps the cause.

Meanwhile both groups groups are owned by lobbyists and have been consistently terrible over the years. Watching Democrats argue with Republicans is like arguing which turd in the bowl floats better. It is time to take a step back and realize they are both turds.
