A lot of people think that the Leafs only option to get a good defenseman is to trade Nylander because of the number $6.9.... The other option that no one usually considers is Ceci walks $4.5 plus a trade of Johnsson $3.4 is $7.9.

Dermott will want a raise and he currently fits 4th on the LHD depth chart so that's another $800k (more, as he'll be wanting a raise - but that's irrelevant here) the Leafs can, and should, shed.

There's plenty of options and a big, big piece in Alex Pietrangelo that would fit this team like an absolute glove.

I second that. Spezza has been highly productive given his ATOI and is a solid veteran presence who has been exceptionally classy in a diminished role.

If we can sign him to another league minimum(ish) contract, do it!

One of the few things that you can do by yourself without putting anyone at risk. As if getting 2 snowstorms this past week wasn’t bad enough.

Samesie. Got hand it to Spezza, he's given what you want from a fading star/cagey vet. He still has some skills too. Became a Spezza fan this year.

No I fish for fun. Retired. People are guessing that wardens wouldn’t be able to police the anglers because of the virus.
Other people are saying merchants don’t want the risk of filling out and selling licenses. Apparently there will be an official announcement next week.

Yes there are probably some valid reasons for it. And you’re right about giving the fish a break for one season. I do all my fishing from a kayak so at least I can still out there, just won’t have a fishing rod with me.

This is just a ns thing. I don’t know the reason for sure but apparently it’s really happening.
Maybe they don’t want hordes of anglers out buying gear and gas etc. They say it’s for one month but I don’t think we’ll be in any better shape by then.
