I love how even though we've seen the problems this causes in real life we still call anyone who doesn't agree with everything we say a "troll."

I always laugh at the stat heads who almost always offer opinions as if the goaltender is separate from the rest of the team! If a goaltender separates a team from the rest of the pack and makes them the best team, well that is no different than a center or a top defenseman doing so. Winning is winning, not matter how you accomplish it.

Keefe!!??

Oh geez........

Just off top of my head...AV, Sullivan, Quinn and I'm sure a few others beat out Keefe

After good start when Keefe took over, the Leafs continued to win a couple and lose a couple in horrendous fashion

Well you can laugh but informed people will laugh at you. Hockey is a poorly designed game because one player has an outsized impact on results, and the rest of the players on the team don't really seem to affect the goalies performance.

Nor are goalie performances predictable. If they were, a goalie would always be the biggest star in the league, since the best goalie of every year has more impact on his team winning than Connor McDavid does.

Look at the Jets - they are awful. They have the something close to the league's worse defense, but they have the NHL's current MVP in net, so they'll make the playoffs. If this was an anomaly, you'd be right. But it's pretty much the norm in the NHL.

If my aunt had a wang she’d be my uncle.

Keefe did a nice job, but no.

It’s AV. Sullivan was up there, but AV passed him down the stretch. More was expected of the Penguins than Flyers, yet Philly ascended passed them in the standings. That being said, Sullivan dealt with terrible injuries, but Sullivan (and Jarry) kept them afloat.

Coulda been Torts until they fell off down the stretch.

But AV developed a very nice team game with balanced scoring and a surprisingly good defensive scheme. Call me a homer, that’s fine, but you gotta admit he deserves at the very least a nod.

Also, I have to admit I dunno as much about Travis Green nor Rick Bowness to give them a full assessment.

At the beginning of the season, Tanner said the Leafs had the best roster ever assembled in the cap era. Now he wants to give Keefe the coach of the year award for having them in 12th...

It's satire at this point, right? I truly don't believe someone can be THIS blind to his own biases.

Informed people won't laugh. Informed people know that the goaltender is part of the team and a really good goaltender goes a long way towards the making of a really good team. After all, he is the player who is on the ice the entire game, unless he's pulled in late minutes.

Who gives a rats ass about predictions! That's irrelevant. Your comment here further proves my point. You're acting as if the goaltender is separate from the rest of the team. It's absurd!

Yea, they'll make the playoffs because they have a really good goaltender! He's part of the team! LOL
It's like separating the QB in football or a top starting pitcher in baseball! Part of the team!

Dude doesn’t even like hockey.
Seems like he should be watching baseball anyway.
Sad that the only way this guy gets attention is for the insane bull poop that he believes in. This is why you pay attention to your children ladies and gentlemen. His father must be so proud. 😂

James Tanner you are loved, not by me, and you deserve to have an opinion because you’re a human being. Keefe is not an NHL coach and is not deserving of the Adams, factual. I don’t care who you ask they would never agree Keefe for the Adams.

no, we call idiots who post stupid things with the sole intention of generating clicks "trolls". hence, everyone on this site calls you an idiot and a troll.

i think my favorite idiot thing you do though, is when you try to play the victim. you don't even have the balls to own your troll, you just cry like a little female dog when people call you out on it.

I think it was more about the belief you don’t actually believe what you wrote but wrote it simply to get a rise out of people. It’s not disagreeing with the content of your post... it’s believing that the whole thing was premised of disingenuous material

How does Bruce Cassidy never get any love? Dudes got like a 70% point percentage since he took over the Bruins. I don’t know for sure but I bet he has the most wins since then too, Coopers the only guy I can think of that would have more

Yeah but people do that specifically so that they don't have to take in any new information and rethink what they already believe. Guessing someone's motivations and discrediting them is exactly what the people who pull the strings what you to do. It sucks that it's trickled down to sports as well.

The idea that I would write something I didn't believe, so that I could get a rise out of people who I clearly have contempt for isn't even a remote possibility. I just bring the truth, always and without reservation. If people are so blind to it they have to make up what they think my motivations might very well be, then that ain't my problem.

I don't believe that you do that either. Your lack of any actual real insight into the game of hockey is well documented. Just to need to amend one thing though. You don't bring the truth. You bring what you think the truth is.
