Thanks Bill!

I watched that call last night. For the most part I though it was pretty dull - those four aren't among the most charismatic players in the league. Their answers to most of the questions were pretty cookie-cutter and boring. I did enjoy the two minutes of light-hearted digging at each other, though.

I was surprised to learn about how sparse their home gyms are. I'd have guessed pro athletes would have a pretty good setup in their homes.

With G getting an xbox, anyone on here willing to game hit me up. It's pretty much all I do when I'm home.

I'm one of the fortunate ones to still be out there working so when I'm done I pretty much game for the rest of the evening.

Stick with what you know, G.
I admire Staal for admitting his brother is annoying...and painful.

During the coming month or so, your weather should be changing and the propagation of the virus will slow. Latest MIT study says temps and humidity are critical to the EASE of transmission. Isolation is the only 'best' bet for helping to save yourself and neighbors.
Today we are projecting record setting temps (90) and I'm going to the grocery.
I'm picking a spot.

I like how they accused G of cheating on face offs. Little bit of jealousy there, boys. If you're not cheating on face offs, you're not trying to win them.

Giroux should by NHL 20 and join the LG summer league. I’m finally getting exposure on one of the worst teams in the league but it’s fun though.

Anyone who has read that study (which can be found here; PDF link here), which was publicly released without even first being peer-reviewed, would not be asserting that it's a foregone conclusion.

In short, their findings may be anecdotal, so more data must be gathered and more studies must be made on it. Also, there may be other factors that skew the available data.

From the study, at the end under "Recommendations" (conclusion):
While proper quarantine measures help in 'spreading the curve', we believe that warm humid conditions in the coming days will be of limited use (if any) to Europe and North America.

While we identified weather-related effects, we highly stress on using the proper quarantine measures even in warmer humid regions, to effectively reduce the transmission of 2019-nCoV and protect the vulnerables against it. Besides weather there are several other factors that may play roles in the number of affected cases in any region including population density, public health policies, political and social structures, healthcare quality, healthcare intervention, global connectedness etc.

I found this article to be an excellent companion read to the study in question (if you ignore the totally misleading headline, which the author may not be responsible for):

Anyone here play FHM6? I can’t figure out how to do trades. Won’t let me move players or picks to box.

Fletcher signed Wade and Tanner. Some were worried the Flyers would fail to sign both of them.

They are older players and will add instant depth to the team. Both will compete for jobs on the NHL team but most likely play in the AHL for some time.

Fletcher continues to get the job done. He took some heat early on but has quieted many of the critics.

Agreed, no GM is perfect and will never please everyone. I was skeptical when the Flyers signed him on but I've been pleased so far.

I do think a defenseman or two. Some thought last year that Attard might go pro this year, any word about that?

Haha thanks.

I questioned the Hayes signing and I still know it’s a good chinch of money. And with the cap possibly coming down could cause some issues. But Hayes’ value is more then just points (which he held his own there) it is his how hard it is to play against him. He can chip in on the PK and with that reach plus strength he is a pain in the butt. I like the signing now.

I haven't heard anything recently. I think another year or two at Western Michigan would be more beneficial to his development.

Hayes is definitely hard to play against. Something this team needed.

I like the extended time line they have with the SHL league. Gives them extra time to watch these kids develop. Attard they will wait on I think. Wouldn’t rush him.
