Jacobs has always been a penny pinching terrible excuse for a human being. This just further solidifies it since it is not just hockey players we are seeing screwed.

Should anyone really be surprised? The pathologically dollar-grubbing Jacobs has a time-honored history of greed. He never met a lockout he didn’t like and was the architect of two of them. That the other owners afford him so much influence is a huge miss on their part. This move should have been 100% expected by that clown.

Jeremy Jacobs has no redeeming human qualities.

Everything I know about that family is bad. There's no other way to put it. I struggled with ever watching a Bruins game simply because of them ... but I've really been enjoying watching that 1st line for the past few years.

I'm not sure I can continue to do that while maintaining a clean conscious (anymore). The only thing I have they want is my attention .. so what does it make me if I give it to them?

Yeah, I will never...NEVER, attend anything at the Garden in the balcony (past the first two rows) again. Thanks to a bunch of overtime last year, the wife suggested I treat myself and go ahead and get half-season passes for this season. Balcony seats, nothing extravagant, and that was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. The old seats were nothing to write home about but at least I could sit in them without having to shrug my shoulders together to try and not "intrude" on my neighbor. One of the last games we went to, the account rep asked us to meet her before the game so she could show us the "improved" seats for next season ( they had replaced 4 seats with the version for next season)...what a joke! All they did was remove the seat and back cushions and make the armrest pretty much non-existent...did nothing to the width so it's still like being packed in a sardine can (to keep the additional seats of course). Greedy bastards...never sitting in those seats again.

we had balcony seats row 14 when I had tickets, started a year before thornton was drafted, paid $12 a seat, 7 years later, we cant even give away tickets, let alone try to sell them, and Jacobs asking for playoff money....
I hope he steps on a lego... barefoot.

There's no defending Jacobs - at all - but - isn't MLSE (richest team in NHL) laying off people? Sure they are topping up EI to 95% - for 4 weeks. And after that?
