Every game they've played for the last three months have been huge. It's been both fun and a strain on my sanity. The Minnesota game was what it was... I'm not going to say their hearts and minds weren't in that game, but nobody can blame them if they weren't. It was unfortunate that the next team on the schedule happened to be right on your heels in the standings, but otherwise throw that one out... They more than made up for it though with four points against Dallas which, based on recent history, I wasn't expecting at all. I was hoping for at best a split. It almost feels like they stole points.

Haven't decided if I like Hynes system or not but one thing I can say for it, in the short term at least, is that it's made the Preds more competitive against teams like St. Louis and Dallas... Dallas in particular who were a match-up nightmare for the Preds under Lavy. What I don't like, is that the 5 on 5 offense seems to have all but dried up under him, and to be honest, I don't know if it's his or his systems fault or not. The Preds are getting chances, there's just no finish. The Preds forward core is a little overrated, but there's still enough talent on this team up front that it shouldn't feel like they need to scratch, claw, and struggle for every goal.
