Fun game, congrats on the two points, but I'm still trying to figure out why that goal counted. And yes, I read the NHL's reasoning, but that was a terrible explanation.

I was unable to watch the game last night, but i will watch it tonight. It sounds like the poor showing against LA was simply just an off night, and off they were... Easily the worst they've looked since the first month of the season...

That being said, if they play well enough to hold down one of the wild card spots, so be it.. As good as they've played over the last month or so, i'm fine with it...

I (like many) was down on Fiala coming into the season and for pretty much the first half... I did not think Fenton got enough value for Granlund, although a very good player in his own right, I think we can now see what Fenton either thought or was hoping for in that deal...

Like i said a few blogs ago, I'm just going to enjoy the rest of the season because this will certainly be the last look of what we have come to know as our Wild team over the last 6 years.

I have to admit I was wrong when Fenton traded Granlund for Fiala. I have witnessed what I guess Fenton saw in Fiala when he pulled the trigger on the deal. Don't laugh but I see a little MacKinnon in Fiala's game. Speed and skill really stand out. I watch every Wild game so I do know what I am talking about. As a matter of fact I watch almost parts of every nhl game and never miss Flyers, Bruins, Wild or Blues. I believe we got a super star in the making in Fiala and I also think this Wild team makes the playoffs.

Agreed. You can just see the confindence in his play and I do believe that refining his defensive play under BB was really the catalyst for his offensive play.

Ok, entering the dream state again...big dreams!

Somehow, Guerin is able to trade like the Wild's 1st rd pick, Greenway, Dumba and mid-level prospect to Buffalo for Eichel. Next year they are running out these lines...

Kaprizov - Eichel - Fiala
Parise - Staal - Zuccarello
Donato - Ericksson Ek - Kunin
Foligno - Galchenyuk or Sturm - Hartman

Yeah, they probably won't play Fiala and Kaprizov together, so there could be some flipping around of RWs...and the 3rd and 4th line C might change a bit too. D pairings might be...

Suter - Spurgeon
Brodin - Belpedio
Soucy - Hunt/Pateryn/Menell

I still can't dream about goaltending though, it's still a nightmare.

On a side note, they hire Koivu to be a asst coach, and his job is to stand on the bench and give the "angry Koivu stare" directed at the other team.

BB was a good coach but his shelf life caught up with him. I think the change has energized the team. Best hockey I have seen in years during this last stretch.

I like how you dream Gus, lol Kaprizov should be special but may take a year or two. Gusev has taken most of the year to get it right and I fully expect he will be an impact player next year. They are not all Panarin's but we can always hope

Hoping they can get tonights game played... Wild currently sitting one point out of the playoffs... would be nice if they could get a win tonight before they suspend the season...

AMEN! But I don't think it is going to happen. My bet is that the season will be suspended for 2 weeks and re-evaluated at that time around 2-3pm today, after the Board of Governors meeting today at 1pm. Kind sucks really, but if everyones routines get knocked for a loop for a couple of weeks to help stem the tide of this virus, I am all for it. I'm pretty used to the Wild's season ending prematurely.

Guess I'm gonna have to watch a couple of episodes of Finding Bigfoot tonight!
