Oh please, spare me the fake annoyance. You can almost make a drinking game out of the amount of times you see Sheary on his ass. It's a freaking given with him.
Concerning the D: What happens when Dumo or Marino get re-injured? How's the D-depth looking if one of those guys, or say Letang or Pettersson gets hurt? I'm sorry that I don't have the blind optimism that you have in the defense group. Yes, the Pens are much better with Dumo and Marino back in the lineup, but they also need to be prepared in the event that someone in the defense group goes down. I for one don't have a lot of faith in Schultz (who's playing sub par), or Johnson to step up. I would have rathered Rutherford made a trade for D instead of bringing back Sheary and another center.

I feel like Riikola and Ruhwedal are fine as a number 7 and 8. So, I have no problem with the D group or the depth.
Sheary is on his ass alot because he doesn't back down from physical play. He's small, he will get knocked down, but he also gets right back in the play. Is he as good as Kahun? To me it's a wash. Sheary is good at getting lost (in a good way) in the offensive zone for food scoring opportunities (why he's so good with Sid)
Rodriguez is another guy with a high motor that can play the Pens style.
Overall, I think it's a net gain.
