In place of Frolik. For a 5th in 2021, it's not a terrible deal. It isn't really what they need, but if they can get a #2C, or even a good 3C, slot that person in between Simmonds and Skinner, and the Sabres finally have 2 scoring lines. |

I like this move, the Sabres basically have 17 pansy skating around the only exception I left off is Rasmus ristolainen. So the guy that throws his body around is a welcome sight, especially at half the salary cap price and a fifth-round pick that would probably never amount to anything. Cuz who knows maybe they'll flip him to one of the teams that Eklund wanted so he can be correct once today. Sabres still have what 5 million dollars to play with |

Yes it’s a long shot, but 6 pts back and with 1 game in hand on TO, and they’re “done for”?
Leafs are spiraling down at 4-6-1 in last eleven games, while the only other team (in the Atlantic) ahead of the Sabres, and vying for that last divisional spot, is the Panthers, and they are in an even worse state than the Leafs at 3-7-1, over last 11-games.
Sabres are 7-3-1, and seem to be finding some depth scoring late in the year.....finally. |
