Call Murray and see what we can do for Guds.. just 1 more yr @ 4 mil. or one of the other guys .. Del Zotto... who have both been ok for us.. and would be a solid stop gap for you guys. Esp with the way you play team D.

I would be more than happy to trade Faulk back to the Canes for a pick, prospect, or a salary dump! What do Canes fans think of that? He is locked in for the next 7 years and a little more that what the average defenseman is going to make going into next year.

No on Faulk return. Also, not that he never trades draft picks, but Waddell has shown more of an affinity to acquire and hoard draft picks rather than trade them. He is more likely to trade prospects (e.g. Gauthier) than draft picks.

Chicago seems to be the most rumors I have heard regarding goalies. I don't know if it is Crawford or Lehner that is the target.

I have more confidence in Nedeljovik than Ben has expressed. If Mrazek is able to come back I would be okay with that tandem if the other options are too expensive. I just don't want the Canes to overpay out of desperation.

Vats can be had for a 1st. Simmonds for a bag of pucks.

Trochek not the move everybody was expecting but again Waddell deals prospects and not draft picks.
