It was reported that 2 teams backed off ... because of Kase's injury history.. And he's been out since a routine hit from Muzzin...

He's 1 solid Tom Wilson / Gudas hit from being Marc Savard..

A 1st in a deep draft and a RHD that the Ducks scouting staff likes is good enough for me.

Because if there is one thing the Ducks do extremely well is evaluate D men...

His "injury history" includes about 3 concussions. He's missed the last couple of weeks due to a routine hit. Love the kid, but he's one hit away from retirement. Knowledgeable Ducks fans understand it was time for him to go. We'll take the 1st and RHD prospect and run.

The East doesn't play as physical a game. I hope he flourishes with you. You'll love him.

If this is true, why did they keep Fowler and trade Theodore?

What does that even mean ? And what does it have to do with Kase ?

Seriously I have no idea what you're getting at.

All in all it’s a pretty good trade for both teams even if Kase falters. Don had to pay a first to ditch Backes, that’s just what it was gonna be. This helps them for sure sign Krug and the other RFA’s as well gives them space for another potential move this year!

If Kase blossoms, possibly like Johansson did. This is will be a homerun for Boston.

Goes to show you know nothing about the Ducks. It was well known Vegas wanted either Josh Manson or Jakob Silfverberg in the expansion draft. Theodore was traded to Vegas with the understanding they would draft CLAYTON STONER instead. Which they did. Vegas wanted Theodore for the "deal" to happen.

Boston will be lucky if Kase even makes the playoffs. It's too bad for him, but his his brain is mush.
