Just need a bow to put on it Bill. 4-0 against Columbus and Florida the last couple weeks. That’s huge and is exactly what they needed to get in the dance |

I thought that I read somewhere that Brink was "questionable" for this weekend. Is there a chance his injury isn't as bad as originally thought? |

Yes. It does not appear to be serious. Brent said he'd miss only a week or two, barring any setbacks. At the time it happened, it lokked really bad: season-ending, surgery needed type of optics. |

Great stuff again, Bill. You really did a good job summing up the ups and down from last year, and how this year has been a 180-degree turnaround (with the exception of the off-ice issues with Oskar and NoPa).
It's great to see how the scoring this year has been from all areas of our lineup. I feel it says a lot for our players (and drafting), but also, the job this coaching staff has done.
Chuck did a commendable job last summer making the changes that would bring this team to the next level. Nisky has been a solidifying force on the back-end, Hayes has been clutch at times, and just generally a smart player, and even Braun has come into his own with this team. I can see us being a real problem for some good teams in the playoffs if we get solid goaltending. I am slightly worried that Eilliot may be burning out, though. He battled through it last night and kept it tied until the OT, which just shows his willingness to do the hard mental work to fight through adversity. That's a good sign. |

The Flyers are currently 8th overall in the standings. At what point do we consider them contenders in the playoffs? |

Good to hear both Allison and Brink avoided lengthy injuries. Allison has been on a really good stretch recently. |

If the Flyers kept their 2020 first pick, Frost, Farabee & York, would you be opposed to making a move to improve the team for a better shot in the playoffs? |

This needs to go a little bit longer to see Konecny just screaming the Blue Jackets (likely Foligno). Was (frank)ing hilarious. |

Will the flyers be contenders? They can make noise if they stay healthy. They’re down 2 forwards that aren’t coming back. I don’t know how they could do it with the money but I’d like another forward brought in by the deadline. I’d give up a couple 2’s or a 2 and a 3 as compensation. I don’t know what money you can move out. I wouldn’t trade ghost they need that defensive depth. That’s why fletcher makes the big money. Time for him to figure something out to bolster the forward depth |

That two million in dead cap space from Ronald McDonald, and Shlubko would come in handy about now wouldn't it? |

I would make a deal that improves us as of right now. It all depends on cost. It’s always about cost. |

I look at the return we got for Schenn (2 firsts and a roster player), and feel as if it's our time to dish out those types of assets in return for a mid twenties, impact, top 6 player still on term (Schenn playing 3 years for the blues on the deal he signed with philly). I get those types of deals on usually done in the off season, but if you have the pieces why not get creative with it?
The farm is still loaded with teen spirit, and giving up 2 firsts now to solidify your place among the leagues elite seems fine to me.
