God do I miss Dumo. I was checking what penguins D pairs were the best and worst at controlling SCF%. Turns out the worst 3 pairings with at least 100 minutes played are - JJ & Letang, JJ & Schultz, JJ & Marino.... Big franking shock right! - burgh4life87
JJ sucks |

It's so infuriating to watch him destroy our offensive production. I hate him with a passion. |

Tiops saying there’s interest in sheary, Vesey, and Derek grant again. Doesn’t make much sense - jchst22
I like Vesey. He’d be a smart pick up for cheap.
We probably lost Kahun now so we better get a couple forwards. |

Could you not see Bjugstad replacing Agozzino and ZAR replacing Lafferty though... Maybe he is trying to just get a feel of the lines he is expecting. Plus, the depth to roll 4 lines going into a very busy weekend is nice - burgh4life87
You could be right because if Hornqvist, Bjugstad, and McCann are on a line McCann is the only one who plays LW. That's why I'd prioritize LW though preferably someone who can play C as well. |

JJ sucks - 668710
He basically just covers the front of the net and makes his partner do all the chasing and breakout work. Half the time he doesn't even try to give Letang a D to D option. |

But the thing is that we are dealing with major injuries to key players. People have been saying that we haven’t looked good against them caps or bs. A lot of people think is because we don’t match up physically. I think the actual reason is that both teams have very good rosters and that can really exploit the fact that our blue line is in shambles and we’re missing an actual third line. - Victoro311
Probably just going to disagree.
Having said all that, I'd still favor the Pens in large part because I agree that a healthy Pens D moves the puck better than the Washington D aside from Carlsson of course.
I think both teams are equipped to give the other fits on the forecheck, Washington due to physicality, Pittsburgh due to speed, and whoever handles it best probably wins. I didn't like what I saw, but it was just part of one game so hopefully they show better Sunday. |

McCann was terrible and has been pretty quiet lately. Maybe it's time to send him to the 3rd line. |

I don’t hate him. I hate everything about his game, though. I wish he were making a lot of money anywhere else besides on the Penguins so he can live a happy life while not bothering me at all. |

He literally does not belong in the NHL because there is absolutely nothing he does above a replacement level. |

Pain you say? Have you seen how terrible Detroit is? Worst team over the past 3.5+ seasons and haven’t picked higher than 6th overall. Only team with less points than Vegas over that time who played one less season than everyone. To top it off will likely end up with the 3rd or 4th pick this year. |

Playing goal, I'm no stranger to getting a puck on the knee. It can do a lot of muscle, tendon, and soft tissue damage. Calling it a bruise or contusion doesn't begin to do it justice. I hope for his sake it's not worst case. |

Very very very true.
But somehow you have spanked Montreal each game so that has to be a little ray of sunshine in the crapstorm of a season. |
