Next two games are against the FLYERS..... I mean yikes, this could be a mini series within the season. Could dictate which way both these team could go towards the deadline.

Thomas,

With all due respect and great sadness, it's quite clear the ship is sinking and it's not going to be saved. The team has no offense, and there is nothing in the trade market that will fix things.

The injuries have piled up to the point there is no hope to improve and no reason to trade prospects or draft picks for players who probably won't stay. Time to lose a lot of games, watch the playoffs fade away and hope somehow we can get lucky (unlike Pittsburgh that deliberately tanked for two seasons to get the #1 pick), and get a superstar that can score and score and score.

It was fun while it lasted...

There are a few players it's time for the team to move on from - Murray, Wennberg, Milano, Harrington.
And there are a few that other teams might be interested in and could bring a decent return - Savard, Nutivaara, Anderson, Nash, Jenner - in picks or NHL-ready prospects. It's also possible that one of the goalies could be moved - the pipeline is too deep not take that advantage.

If Jarmo doesn't do anything at the TDL, that's okay, as long as he does make changes this summer. It's pretty obvious that a dynamic top-6 forward is needed if this team is to make the playoffs. Work from our defensive depth and package some

.Whatever happens - Jarmo can't stand-pat with the current team. Even healthy, it won't hold up for the long run.

We need to sell, burn off the fat and go forward with the ones that can help us, Wennberg, Murray, Anderson, Milano should be on the list, i'd keep Savard and Nuut, they have been invaluable more often then not.
