The Red Wings are a mess. |

Really liked Crosby and Zucker. One less interesting part of Zucker's game that I liked today was his play along the boards. Really complemented Crosby on the boards today. They generated a couple of great chances based on winning battles along the boards. |

Gotta remember that ontop of Bjugstad, Kahun will be coming back soon and that Lafferty and Agazzino are not going to be in a healthy lineup even with G our long term. A third line of some combination of Kahun, McCann, Hornqvist, Simon, and Bjugstad is more than than adequate. Rutherford shouldn’t feel pressured to get a forward, but obviously if there’s a good deal to be had for a right handed shot he should do it. |

I feel like McCann was all over the ice today. Taking good shots, nice passes, and was skating really well with the puck. If the 2nd line is Kahun-Malkin-Rust, can McCann play on the right with Crosby and Zucker? |

Apparently Coleman is being dealt to Colorado.
I still think we could make a trade happen but Dillon seems to be our of reach right now. How about Colin Miller? Wouldn’t be against him. |

I also noticed a very smart Simon today. The guy was on every puck. McCann is kind of cold with his shot for the past games, don’t know why. Anyway we have good problems to solve (thankfully) once Kahun and Bjugstad get back. |

Yeah.....some similarities to Kunitz in his game. Tenacious straight line player. Good at cycling too. |

I like that Miller has term but he is RD and we need LD.
It keeps being said that we have no more ammo since we don't have a 1st or 2nd this year, but we have picks 1-3 in 2021 (and 2022). If we could get a good 2LD, I would trade our 2021 1st. We will need to get a LD in the offseason if we plan on cutting JJ loose, anyway. |

The team denied it, but I bet something goes down. |

He did get in a fight once this year, much to Grinder's chagrin. Where is he, anyway? |

He went to the Lightning. I don't get how the Lightning are constantly such a stacked roster. How does the cap space work? |

@vic regarding coleman
I mean anyone can add a $1.8 mil contract but yeah....lightning are stacked. Jesus.
Gmjr will still make a medium sized move though... I'm confident if that |

I thought a first for Coleman was a bit much. Is Foote a decent prospect or not?
Edit: I guess nothing official yet? |

He was ranked their 2nd best prospect by the athletic. The 1st is also Vancouvers lol. |

Wow, I mean Vancouver is good this year but they definitely gave away the better of the 1st round picks. |

Well, Tampa overpaid for Coleman. I think we paid a better price for Zucker since they took Galchenyuk and his $4.9M contract. |

Yea I know we paid a good price but had we traded our 1st and Addison for Coleman I would not be happy. |

For sure. This would’ve been a rapping case.
I was wondering if there’s any chance the Penguins deal Bjugstad and J.Johnson (or Schultz) for Subban with something else being added to this deal. Not saying I’m down with this before anyone judge me. |

As I talked about Subban, Eklund posted NJ is moving him soon.
NJ will be stacked with prospects |

If Coleman got we he got, Subban may get better. They won't be taking on players. |
