Botterill actually gave Bogo a gift. Obviously zero trade market for him, but someone likely to pick him up for nothing. You have to be on crack to think Miller, who I like, will ever get you Cirelli straight up. I would say there are only two players that Tampa would take straight up for Cirelli, and Buffalo is not doing that deal in either case.

Wait, I thought the Sabres were going to trade him for a basket of 1st round picks and McDavid.. Yet another reminder that there is only two or three players on this entire poop roster that have any value outside this organization..What a freaking joke, the Sabres eat 5 million + a year for this turd, and when push comes to shove the rest of the league (and I'm sure the Sabres offered to retain salary) still valued the pea shooting pylon at ZERO, We'll pass, not interested, move along nothing to see here.

I guess us Sabres fans can look at it this way, we only have another 5 - 10 years of drafting in the top ten and maybe we can field an NHL caliber roster of players...

I seem to recall reading in this space that the Flyers were considering Bogo for Couturier and a pick. Shame they missed out...

Though not technically ON crack, Garf has the mental capacity of a crackhead

Still my favourite blogger by far though. The Garf trade proposal is by far the best thing on this site. In Garf’s mind, NHL GMs across the league are sitting in boardrooms with their entire scouting staff on Skype, brainstorming ways to pry Evan Rodrigues out of Buffalo

In reality though, Bogosian is possibly the worst player in the league.

You are crazy to think any team will claim Bogo off of waivers and his $5.1 salary. No teams wants that salary for a 6th def that is always hurt.

I think when Garth wants to have a certain player so bad that he convinced himself that they're coming.

I think Colin Miller will be available for trade. Seemingly there is a trust situation with Miller and Ralph Kreuger. Miller has been a healthy scratch several times this season as well as being the seventh defenseman in Kreuger‘a 11 forward-7D lineup.

Can't crack Buffalo's roster on a consistent basis but he'll help improve Tampa's?

Oh hi Garf. Sabres need Freakorenko and the Latvian Locomotive. Generational Jack and Samson Reinhart need some help. Super Swedish phenom Rasmus Dahlin will only improve. What happened to the veritable treasure trove of assets for Evander Kane? At least Mittelstadt is still there. They call him Snipeshow around these parts. Will Bogo get the Sabres 5 premium pieces? Have faith Garf. GMJB always gets his man. Don't blow all your Murrency in one place now. You have enough of Jack's Jorts.

In Garth's world the impossible is possible, the unreal is real, and wishes always come true. In this world the Sabres have 16 NHL caliber top four defensemen, each one of which all other 30 teams in the league are crazy over and will hand over a veritable treasure trove of assets to complement Jack.

Cireilli is a good young and cheap forward. The type of player the Lightning need as they are and will be a cap team for years to come. They most certainly are not going to trade him away for a depth defenseman who makes an unaffordable 3.8m yr. More fantasy from Garth. Sabre’s garbage for a treasure trove of riches.

Garf recently suggested Yzerman get fleeced with this stupid trade proposal...

"Right D Colin Miller and winger Evan Rodrigiues for winger Andreas Athanasiou and center Christoffer Ehn looks and feels good to me."

Teams that are cup contenders don't trade their 2nd line centers for #4/5 dmen, it just doesn't happen.

Tampa has Hedman, McDonagh, Shattenkirk, Cernak, Sergachev, Ruuta, Coburn and Schenn. That's a good enough defense, not one thats so bad a GM would trade his 2C to improve it anyway.

Tampa may have another cap crunch coming this summer with some RFA's to sign but I highly doubt they'll trade Cirelli to fit someone else in.

This is shocking news. How did they let him go when he was an integral piece just 2 weeks ago to land Kreider?

Imagine he's actually good next season when he comes back to the NHL with the Leafs.

Garf would poop himself.
