Enjoyed chanting "We Suck Less" at the game last night.

These wins are bad from the draft odds, but man does it stink if they just lose non-stop. I have more respect for Nas now then under Hynes but holy poop is he not the answer.

Severson's confidence is definitely growing as evident by his skating with the puck the last 10 games or so. His passes have also been crisper and quicker in the offensive zone giving the receiver of the pass more time to make a shot or another pass. All in all, he is getting way more heat than he should be getting.

You got us this time! But we are getting better. Next year, when the guy we took before Quinn Hughes is really NHL ready we will only lose 4-3

I think this depends on how much talent we are able to sell off. We could out stink you guys by next year.

Should they go out and pluck one of these coaches out there? Alot of talent but without a permanent GM it will be hard

"Win" basement bowl...guess it depends on how you define win? Win the game, or win better odds in the lottery. Either way, ugly hockey.

Gallant is my guy. Really not a fan of Bruce. Who will be in more demand? Gallant has to be. .. which means he'll have other options. We'd lose the money war and get out-bid. NJ/NY have some really nice areas but Newark compared to most hockey arena areas.. really is a dump, sorry. NJ wouldn't be at the top of my lists to go coach. It's almost depressing.

Agreed on Gallant. NJ at the turn of the century - any premiere coach would have come here. now, not so much...

Win if for no other reason than Simmonds getting two goals.

I think the problem is that under Hynes he tried to get Severson to play a more defensively sound game, and he's skill set really just doesn't allow for that. He's so much better when he's skating and generating offense.

In other new Vancouver has been keeping an eye on Simmonds with ferland out. Well Ferland just left his Utica game with another concussion...

Let’s see if Fitz can work some old Shero magic.

Merks assisted Joey's goal. Two players that will hopefully get more reps to close out the season.

It was a very nice play and from what I saw Merkley looked pretty decent. Also nice to see Anderson get one. He’d been doing great in the AHL but I didn’t see much from him up here.

Jesper Boqvist also had a couple of goals last game.

I have high expectations for Boq. The kid has shown a ton of offensive upside, and IF we do move a left wing like Coleman before the deadline, I would hope to give Boq some serious TOI in a top 6 role to close out the devs season. Otherwise, keep in the AHL where he is gaining confidence. That Hall trade sure bolstered our AHL development with Schnarr and Merks.

If Coyotes end up missing and we get a top 15 pick and Bahl and Merkeley end up becoming decent NHLers then Shero won another trade as his last hurrah.

I think Boqvist is going to be a good one. He's just be stuck with crap line mates all year, which is understandable as a rookie learning the game. I agree that once he starts getting some more minutes and other players around him we'll see some real offensive production from him.

Also liked what I saw from Merkley last night. Right now it looks like we have a lot of solid complimentary offensive forwards on the come up, which is good. But we're still missing some of that real top end talent.

Free agency begins, thoughts on Taylor Hall? I ask because I never wanted him to leave and said sign him at any cost. I now believe that thought "at any cost" is completely flawed. Based on what I see in Arizona he is a very good player at this point of his career, but with the current production and injury risk I would not go more that $8- 9 million.
