Missed last night's game, but on the whole they give up a lot of shots, and they're not scoring as much as they should. Andersen's a good goalie, but he's typically not a game breaker. What were they gonna do though? Offer Bob 10 mil?
- mgriffen

Leafs played a good game - Dallas is just a good team; and it was a close match.
Leafs did give up too many odd-man rushes (easily 7 to 8 during the whole game) andn Andersen didn't have his best game.
Only other thing I didn't like is that they complained (apparently?) about the reffing - if Tavares indeed wasn't happy with that penalty on Heiskanen, that's ridiculous; it was an obvious tripping penalty since the got his skate with his stick.. not sure how you can complain about that..).

So which D should Leafs target this off-season?
and Freddy has an interesting contract with a 4mln signing bonus, and 1mln salary - but a modified non trade clause..
There aren't any better options available though.. so Leafs should probably still keep him, unless he really blows it next 25+ games and/or playoffs..

Is that Dryden?
- Scabeh

Yes it is, he was a great goalie - but the emphasis was on the square footage of the target that seems to give Freddy difficulties.

It doesn’t and shouldn’t cut his value much.

He’s a very good player regardless.

If that’s the case then Dermott is worth (frank) all too now.

I know, I just found it hilarious how big of a target in had between his legs.

No question he was great for his time.

Agree, the call on JT, it was an obvious penatly - so was the uncalled elbow on Dermott right in front of the official, so was the trip by your boyfriend Hintz, so were several high hits on Marner. 4 power plays to two. The penalty on Marner was one of the worst calls I've seen this year. An NBA ref would have received dicipline for such a call.

Given their talent level I think they are exactly where they should be.

Agreed, some really weak calls against the Leafs last night.. Similar to the Coyotes game.

maybe I didn't have my leafs glasses on, but I missed the 'several high hits on Marner' (you're implying they were hits that should receive a penalty, didn't see anything bad).
maybe the one hit on Dermott should have been penalized.
overall, Dallas were playing a strong game and Leafs were struggling with a good opponent.

Boudreau has a very good regular season record as a coach. His post season record is poor. That said, this firing is baloney. Minnesota is a sh!tty franchise , full of bad contracts and middle of the road players.

strange, I think BB is one of the best coaches. Doubt they find someone better.

Havent paid close attention to Minny. But I assume they have some tendin issues.

Shots on goal were a strong indicator of the play. Leafs had 31 shots vs 19 for Dallas.
Bishop had a strong game. Officiating was sub par - JMO.

I am building up the fake rumour that Domi is getting traded for Dumba.

Eklund should report this any second now.
