If Stan doesn’t sell this TDL, it’ll prolong the rebuild. Playoffs aren’t happening.

He won’t do much. And the desirable assets to sell mostly have NTCs.

And the Hawks won 3 Cups with Q at the helm
and he was fired. If the organization feels Bowmans handling of the team has been a reason the Hawks are likely to miss the post season and wish to make a change so bet it.

I don't have a problem with any of that. If they do move on from Stan, just get the best guy for the job. There's more than one way to skin a cat was my point.

This notion that the only people that can be successful at the GM position are people that played the game at a high level just seems kind of meatball'ish.

Really hate how players dump it and are constantly impeded / interfered with when they chase. If you don’t have the puck another player should not be able to grab you. It’s clear interference.

The general consensus is that Bowman should look to sell spare parts for the usuals next Monday, how about going out of the box and put Dylan Strome and Alex Debrincat name out there too as far as being available. It’s going to be potential bad money going into next season otherwise.

Another L.

At least they’re committed to improving their draft position.

Not factoring the lottery, it looks like the Hawks should be drafting 7th with an outside chance of 5th or 6th.

After careful consideration I’ve reassessed who I think the Blackhawks should draft. Without a doubt Stan should pick Yaroslav Askarov.

Their ladt 7 losses - 6 were one-goal games or OT (not counting ENG). Their in the games - just not quite good enough.

all four losses on this trip by 1 goal..very winnable...didn't play that poorly

goalied vs knucks
some tough bounces and calls
and this 8 pt swing vs the jets hurts big time

gotta think the next two at home vs rangers and preds are must 4 pts before another disaster road week looms vs stars, blues, bolts, panthers...

Sellers

Road trip ends & Hawks are clearly selling whatever they can

If I’m Lehner why would I sign here?

Aging lineup
-little in the pipeline
- last place team in the Central
- Unqualified Coach

Nice Jersey 🤦‍♂️

Amazing not to call a penalty for 60 minutes, Kane says post game.

A Russian and a goalie with a Top 10 pick? You are out of your mind.

My pick as of today. Stutzle. Raymond. Rossi and maybe Lundell

Cause who really wants to watch Seeler play? Best way to learn is by doing. They aren't making the playoffs as you said. What is the harm if he has another bad game?

Bad habits. Bowman should realize that Boqvist is not developing properly with Colliton's bdefensive scheme

Big move in picking Boqvist then to subject him to this system just seems like it will set Boqvist development back. Bring in top rated prospects but deter or screw them up with Colliton. This is what gets Bowman fired. I could even imagine in house MacIsaac or someone else in house as temporary GM. Hire a new GM when someone emerges that you like.

Lottery choice could be anywhere but thanks for your analysis; you have good insight on this board. I know too Tyler will rank the prospects with any input he hears and of course we have wiz at draftsite.com.

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
If anybody including the owner or the president wanted to make a huge stance,he would come out fire Bowman right now before Monday’s trade deadline and just tell whoever keeps the seat warm for the next guy just sit tight for the rest of the year, maybe have a plan for a few slam dunk unloads like Robin Lehner ,Gustefsson, Ect.
Anyone thinks Robin Lehner is resigning here keep pouring that Kool-Aid .
If we had a goddamn general manager that know what he’s doing he should be shopping Strome and DeBrincat also.
And for someone brought up that Nick Schmaltz has as many goals as Michael Nylander this year.
Schmaltz drafted by Bowman.
Nylander traded for by Bowman
The similarity is they both suck and they both are tied to Stan Bowman.

Sure, why not.
But if you are a GM do you want Strome with his issues as discussed on these pages? DeBrincat not much help with the way he has regressed - he is an investment in the future with hope for return to previous form. Neither helps much this playoff drive. I am.not a Strome fan and I would prefer to retain DeBrincat

I’m trying to say is everything should be on the table. I don’t know what is wrong with this kid, he looks like he’s just not engaged out there he skates down the ice with a stick in the air waiting for the one time Dennis Hull bomb, I said it before but take flack for it, the rest of the league adjusted to this kid they choke off his open eyes, and he’s too small to fight through some of those spots to get in the open, he just don’t look like he’s playing hard enough out there if his size isn’t a factor. But with him kicking in at $6 million a year next year I would look to the team like the Oilers in See if you maybe could get a couple of players for him. Let him go over there with McDavid ,if we could get a young kid like Puljujärvi and say a good defenseman or maybe Ryan Nugent Hopkins. Just try to reset and go in a different direction
