Tomorrow could be ugly! If they lose 7-2 the comments on here are going to be interesting at the very least!

Well Det. Seems to play Boston well. Bad thing is Bruins will be pissed if they lose again. NYR has the scoring, just gotta hold down the fort , D wise

on a roll....or will it be a bagel...tomorrows gm has alot of implications to keep the roll rolling ,right now keeping Krieds,AdA,are 4 sure unless they get a rediculous offer,Strome is close but not a sure thing to stay ,with Fil growing ,may not keep or sell in a deal ,Buchny showing signs of staying in top 6 for now ,finished last season very strong & seems o have the eye of hunger & game ,strong games are not the exception lately.Beat boston & HANK's the key to making a move ,IS there a team that wants what he's got to make the run with ? I D K ,injuries? who is starting against Bos.? in net

cap does not prevent NYR from signing the 2 rfa & 1 ufa ..Fast ? may not get big enough offer to trade if still in hunt not just mathematically

Plus if we signed EK, they wouldn't have traded for Fox or Trouba. This team would be a dumpster fire in its own end

Yea we won out on that, just wish we would see a little more of that TRouba rough side a la Jeff Beukeboom, he can throw those hits with the best of them

Fox reminds me of Leetch and to a lesser extent, Lindgren reminds me of Beuk (toughness)...they’ll be the rangers top pair before to long

The writing was on the wall with him. He’s a player on the decline with a terrible contract

He was Leetch like in those first 4/5 years, just hasn't been able to perform the same, even now, is he even 30 yet?

I’ll probably get killed for this
((TJ dons protective helmet))

What about trading for Kovalchuk? Nothing crazy, 3rd rd pick or something. Being buyers without losing much. I’d expect other teams in on him where the offers could be better tho. He seems to be reenergized this season

San Jose is now able to place EK on LTIR which opens up all kinds of cap space. Wonder if the Rangers can offload some salary to them in a trade to help their rebuild? Would be a good place to send Smith or even possibly Staal ( if he would waive NMC ). We have plenty of sweeteners to offer to Sharks ( hello Lias! ).

I don't see anything Rangers and Sharks happening

both teams have no cap problems this year, but both have them next year

Sharks are in absolutely horrendous trouble, Ottawa gets that likely top 5 pick this year and their cap is a DISASTER next season

going to be a real tough game, but if we beat Boston this afternoon, we are full blown in this thing

the way we are playing, we can catch Florida, Columbus, Carolina and Philly

and look at that, Isles aren't too far away either....

Kovalchuk has actually done pretty solid in Montreal. If I was them I’d try to get him to want to play there.

Yeah, I want no part of an old man contract of any size on this team.
We can female dog all we want, but in reality this roster is really close to being everything we could want it to be.
I'm not saying top of the league or anything stupid, but one or two last pieces and then growth and experience is all we need to have a team we will rave about for quite a while!!!

I think this is the best Rangers powerplay since 1994
