Rangers hung around a won one that they didn’t play all that well early, good win. Couldn’t believe what Kassian did and no penalty on the play. Watched him a lot with the Canucks, bit of a loose cannon

After seeing earlier this week in the Islanders game how dangerous a skate blade can be, yeah --- I think Kassian is looking at a multi-game suspension.

Good win tonite for our beloved Blueshirts. Hopefully this gives the team a boost for Columbus game.

Panarin went sideways for the shootout goal!

The only positive thing I can say about Brady Skjei tonite was that he didn't injure any teammates ---- particularly Kreider!

Philadelphia’s schedule is rough for the next month. We have 2 games in hand on play them and play them twice. Not saying we are going to catch up to them but if we can continue to pull wins together it’s going to get real interesting.

They’re playing good hockey at possibly the toughest time (decision wise). Love the character of this team, seems like they’re developing some great chemistry with each other, do we break that up? Tough calls in the next few weeks.

it's also possible that's it's Boston, Tampa and Toronto in the Atlantic (Florida fading really fast)

and 5 teams from the Metro:

Caps, Penguins, Islanders, Flyers and Rangers

Columbus and Carolina both have lost a significant defenseman long term to injury

absolute must win tonight, this is pretty much the season tonight

What about Kreider? Didn't see the ice in overtime? Injury.....or flu?

Trading Brady Skjei and Brandon Smith would go a long way with helping cap problems.....even if we picked up 2 million of Smith's salary. That's 10 million if you add 2 plus million the cap is gonna go up.

Columbus somehow has lost 3 straight games and got a point in all 3. I still think its either them or the Flyers we have to catch, and I can make an argument for both fading. We also really need to get ahead of the Canes. We have no games in hand on them and they could be a roadblock.

I think Skjei should try and learn how to play forward like Smith he is so bad omg. He has offensive instincts and speed for the wings. He simply cannot be a defenseman much longer

Aside from him, what a win that was

Kassian should be suspended for life, you can’t do that!! 😡

I am feeling that morning stress a little today, like back in our deep playoff run days. Tonight really is a huge game if they want any sort of a shot at the playoffs. 4 point swing game

I'm calling it - Toronto is not making the playoffs. Maybe even finishes with fewer points than us.
They lost Johnnson last night, too. Keefe said it is NOT short term. Dropping like flies and can't keep the puck out of their net.

I see your point, but there's no room for him anywhere but the 4th line. That's a $5.25M 4th line winger. Unsustainable.

...oh, and Kassian is trash.

worth a shot, maybe he’ll be the reverse Brent Burns lol. He has plenty of skills and can skate so he could probably handle it. Like he could be way better then Smith. Idk just an idea because he’s so awful on D. He just backs in and oles out of the way like a god damn matodor
