Im assuming Schaller and a 3rd/4th round pick would do it. We would have to create a roster spot I believe, so a player would have to go the other way. I don't think hes the answer at all, but given what we have seen this year, I imagine Benning wants to add some toughness so that his star players dont get pushed around so much.

Tampa likely gets this years first. JB should focus on acquiring picks instead of giving them away.

Would love to sign Marky - ideally a four year x $5.5MM deal gets it done.

Otherwise, let him hit the market (still try to sign him once he sees the depressed market), sign an experienced back up for Demko, and improve the team in front of the goalie. Marky has been the difference this year but no reason why the team can't take another step next year and be better with a solid goalie like Demko+.

Toronto has a brutal PK. Schaller would fit right in.

The only guys I can think of that we could probably get rid of without causing any holes in the lineup and that other teams MIGHT want would be Schaller and Benn AND I doubt they’re worth much if anything.

I had some Shawarma the other day. It was good but you may want to keep it to hockey content otherwise big bad nasty boss man Makita might give you a big ol female dog slap to keep you on course.

I honestly think ZacMac and Bailey do what Simmonds does except they’re both faster, just as physical, can produce equally, are much cheaper AND don’t cost us picks/prospects

Hardest NO ever to Simmonds

Tampa Bay needs all the first they can get. They aren't very good at drafting.

I feel bad for Bailey having TG as a coach

That "giveaway" was/wasn't his fault. He tried to make a play and Stecher just wasn't expecting it. I think he only had 1 more shift after that.

I like him a hell of a lot more than Schaller. At least if he hits someone they are going to feel it.

If that is what you want the 4th liners to do forecheck hard and hit hard. Schaller does neither.

Yeah give Bailey a little more rope and few more games - he’s earned it and capable.

ZacMac has more fighting majors than any other Canuck in the last 2 years and he’s played 15 games, finishes his checks too - he’s the sandpaper that Schaller and Ferland haven’t delivered

It's certainly been a lot of time spent on a player that has a 0% chance of becoming a Canuck.

Glad to help, although I'm not sure Simmonds is the answer either, what would Jersey want a 3rd, maybe a 4th

Don't matter we will hear about it for the next few years about wasted picks.
