Zero chance Hudon is still in the organization by then, he's probably one of the most likely to go at the deadline
- obie

Because he's the missing piece teams are looking for to win the Stanley cup?

If Anything, they'll keep him to help the Rocket make the playoffs for the first time since god knows when.

Assuming Habs keep Bergevin and co. employed, and since the draft is in Montreal...boos or cheers when they'll make their way to the stage to pick 15th overall?
- stinger67

God i hope they boo the living (frank) out of those losers!! Would send a clear enough message to Molson you'd think?

Unless MB tells him what he's REALLY hearing of course.

Because he's a depth player that would cost a team nothing and Montreal doesn't want him back

Keep him to expose at the expansion draft. Just like Kinkaid.

But you would need to resign both.... Seattle isnt taking Kinkaid, every team will be leaving a goalie unprotected, I doubt Kinkaid will be one of the better ones out there

And Hudon would have to play in 40 games next year to be eligible, no thank you

Not just that.... you know that there was just a Micheal McCarron for Lauren Dauphin trade right? I never said anything about what would be coming back and you start flapping your gums.... Hudon is done with this team, he could be a throw in because of contract reasons... he's a RFA, a team could acquire him for their AHL team next year... he has NHL experience, a team with lots of F injuries could throw you a 7th for him!! Never said anything about his value, it's non existent, but if you don't think Bergevin would be trying to offload him in any way, that's your problem Fido!

first, I didn't say anything about the return either. so calm down.
second, everyone knows Hudon is done with the Habs, that he won't come back next year. that being said, I highly doubt there's a gm out there who thinks he's the missing piece they need to make a cup run. so close to 0 chance he is traded a the tdl. he could sign as UFA this summer but I doubt it, I see him play in Europe tbh.
so saying he is the most likely to go at the tdl, before Kovy and Thompson... yeah, let me laugh. you were once again very entertaining.

It is not about who Seattle takes, it is about protecting your assets, so sign them so you can expose them and keep your other assets.

Sebastian Dea, Bodgan Kiselevich, Oscar Fantenberg, Cliff Pu and yes, Jordan Weal

You know what these guys have in common?

2 things

1.They all suck donkey balls

2.They we're all involved in trades last year at the TD

Lots of garbage gets recycled on deadline day, for lots of different reasons Fido

I'm pretty calm, about to pop open the 99 whiskey, stay tuned, gonna be a fun night! 5-3 Habs

Not really, you can only protect a certain amount any way, makes no difference how much junk you have

Been looking for one all day

So Habs should sign all the poopty players so they can leave lots of protected garbage out and be stuck with all but one when it's all said and done??

You get a (frank)ing clue

No I'll stick to it, wanna make a friendly bet that Hudon is dealt?

Oh and I'll stick to my 5-3 prediction as well, with Suzuki getting 3 points

(frank) you are a retard.

It is not only about who they can protect, but they have to expose a certain amount fo players with specific NHL tenure. That is why Kinkaid and others are not going anywhere.

Yea like I didn't know that!

They have guys that they will want to protect but won't be able to... do you get that numb nuts? They may be force to trade one so they dont lose him, you get that? They dont need extra garbage around to expose!!

You think Kinkaid gets another contract from Montreal after this season and you're all up in here calling others retard!! That's a beauty!

not that it is impossible, but very unlikely.
Habs want to make the playoffs in Laval, trading Hudon don't make sense since the return would be close to 0. might as well keep him and hope they clinch a spot. then you let him walk in July.
Thompson yes, Kovalchuk yes. Scandella maybe. there will probably be buyers. Hudon very very unlikely imo.

Keep Kinkaid? Like re-sign Kinkaid? Why?
