Would Domi be in that convo
- Buff36

Idk
I know a lot of ppl here like him
But why is MTL ready to move him?
Makes me nervous that there’s something going on that we don’t know about

If he’s last years version going forward, then ok
But if he only continues to produce like this year,
we will likely regret it

I did add top 8 protected.

From The Hockey Writers Jan '19:
"Peyton Krebs is another player on this list that I think could very easily shoot up the rankings. He’s a well-rounded prospect that brings an offensive flair to his game and is known as a leader. He’s a great playmaker and skater. A big selling point in Krebs’ game is his defensive skill. There aren’t many players that age that are as sound in his own zone as he is. A potential first-line centreman."

Also, Krebs outperformed Newhook at the WJC-18 and WJC-17. Hard to compare NCAA players vs. WHL players.

Look at the write up for anyone ever picked in the top20 of the 1st round
It’ll be very similar

17 points in the last 19 games.

You beat the other team by scoring
Effort and being good doesn't matter

Can’t score goals
Don’t think he’s an elite playmaker

Good player, but 3rd line Center in NHL
Not worth a top10 pick THIS year

That's the big ?, sounds like they decided to hold onto Tatar and Petry and he's the next one that might bring them a nice haul. Spector's has them talking with Minnesota about Dumba.

For some reason,
it seems as if they think Domi is more like this year’s version than last year
Otherwise,
he should be untouchable

I’ve seen mentions about his attitude
But maybe that’s just bc he’s a young kid that’s gotta grow up still

You ranted on Brady Tkachuk for an entire year for the same thing. Why do you feel the need to be so decisive with prospects?

Ok, i can get with that
Although i think I’d rather move Montour
But that’s not a hill I’d die on either

I would prefer to move one of those guys for someone playing now though

Since Trocheck is the latest rumor,
would u rather have him or Krebs?

I’d like Bonino a lot
Not sure why the Preds would move him though?

- jdfitz77

3 points out of a playoff spot currently.

Maybe more near the deadline.

Maybe a shake up?

Yeah, could be don't really want to give up a 1st, but we really don't have a Dman like Dumba either.

Well maybe if Pegula would have been willing to pay the bonus, they would have gotten more.

I like some better than others, don’t you?
Also...
i was FAR from decisive about Brady
I was worried he could end up just being a 3rd liner, which is why there was other prospects I’d rather have drafted at that spot
It’s not like i hated Brady, or thought he’d definitely be a 3rd liner

And it’s not like i KNOW for sure
Just my opinion

Krebs only reason he didn't go higher was his injure he will likely have a C on his Jersey someday and he's a player that Dedicates everything to the sport When you have heart and determination the sky's the limit

Didn’t have to trade him, was under contract. He chose the crappy players once he decided to trade him

I see a lot of Bo Horvat in Krebs.

If Vegas is truly interested in Risto I’d hope Botts demands he be included. Even if we have to add to Risto I’d do it.

Well he was directed by the owner to do so, funny how Murray gets a pass because he was told to do what he did, but Botts gets poop for getting what he could, at that time, or running out of time before the bonus kicked in.
