I realize this is a rumors site, but i'm sick of the trade scenarios - just... stop. If it were up to me I would put a ban on any trade talks (when it comes to the Sabres). Why ? Because there will be no trades of any significance made by this team. Why not ? Because Botterill sucks. It's just that simple. Years from now when he's finally fired, we'll all be posting "what took so damn long ?!?".

I really don't see any light at the end of the tunnel for this team. In my mind, we're screwed for a long time. Why bother watching/posting/caring ? I don't know ... I really don't know.

Cozens looks light years ahead of where mitts was but it is Jr’s so I’ll temper my expectations

I like McCabe + for Bennett and Kylington.

I really feel a change of scenery for Bennett would do him good plus he plays with some snarl. Which this team also lacks. He has the talent(just needs to unlock it) and I’d try him at #2c for the remainder of the year. I mean it couldn’t hurt, everyone else has been thrown in there.

Yeah I was impressed with Cozens in camp, was surprised he didn't get his 9 games. But his development in Jrs has been something, he definitely took to heart what ever was said to him when he was sent back.

My thought if I were Botts:
Trade an asset to secure a player that would provide help longer-term...not so much now.
Kinda like the Kane trade.

Josh Anderson would be my target. Has had an injury plagued season, and remains on injured reserve as we speak. Has a whopping 4 points this season in 26 games, but last 2 seasons produces at a 0.5 ppg pace. He would be fabulous at 3LW and could play 2RW as well. Adds grit and power forward skill set.

CBJ has a ton of Cap Space, has needs at forward and D now with Jones on IR could they make Vesey and Miller work?

Florida lost today....am i the only one who sees 8pts between buffalo and toronto...i meen yeah the team suck i hate the coach with his dump and chase....but 8pts in feb its not that hard
