All of a sudden tage, vessey and cozens will all of a sudden be good quality nhl players?
- hubie

Vesey is fine in a bottom 6 role, if he has to hang off Jack’s coattails he’s shown he can produce as well.

Cozens is developing quite nicely and I don’t see why he can’t be a quality NHL player.

Tage was showing well before his injury. His biggest issues as you all of mentioned is he needs to add the weight to play the style of play that will make him an effective middle 6 forward in the NHL.

This gets said about a lot of guys, and yet we have no productive 3rd line. Maybe we have 8 4th liners

If one didn't know better, one would think that this was the actual job of so many of you.🤷‍♂️

How do some of you have so much time to invest/waste on a hockey rumor message board?

Why do you invest/waste so much time on a hockey rumor message board?

For (frank)'s sake, attain a life.

Not very Christian of you.

It's times like these I think of 2 Kings 2:23-24

“From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some boys came out of the town and jeered at him. ‘Get out of here, baldy!’ they said. ‘Get out of here, baldy!’ He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys.”

I’ve seen the most beautiful fields, farms, fields — most gorgeous things you’ve ever seen, and then you have these ugly things going up. And sometimes they’re made by different companies. You know, I’m like a perfectionist; I really built good stuff. And so you’ll see like a few windmills made by one company: General Electric. And then you’ll see a few made by Siemens, and you’ll see a few made by some other guy that doesn’t have 10 cents, so it looks like a — so you see all these windows, they’re all different shades of color. They’re like sort of white, but one is like an orange-white. It’s my favorite color: orange.

Moulson & Okposo were obvious mistakes too

I think the defense being so bad greatly hindered the offense

- jdfitz77

I'm not defending GMTM in any way but was Okposo an obvious mistake at the time? The three years before buffalo he had 69, 51 and 64 points. I know playing with Tavares a lot but still. I think his injuries changed him as a player. He's still a somewhat effective player just in a very different role and not at 6M per year. If he was paid 2-3M as an effective depth forward I think people have much less of a problem with him.

My life would be complete if my son could call him coach of the 10U jr sabres. I could retire and pack up my life because no goals or ambition could ever come close to that

The problem is even if he made $2m, we have like 8 of these guys who score 5-12 goals a year. So many of the "he won't kill you in a limited role" guys. And a lot of them arent playing in a limited role

You can pick basically any of Vesey, Girgs, Larry, Okposo, Asplund, Sheary, somevodka, wilson, or Erod and even Mojo and make a case for them individually as a bottom 6er, but as a group it's a terrible mix

they need to pick 4 or 5 of them and use them in the in that bottom 7 role and shoot the rest to the moon or rochester

except somevodka... just crack that one open and drink it
