Played for 20 mins and got a point. Will definitely need a better effort against the Bruins.
- HawkintheD

Can’t settle for one point against one of the worst teams in the NHL.

Against Boston sure, that’s understandable. But in our position we need both points 100% of the time when playing bad teams. Zero room for error. That one point will be huge down the stretch. We needed it.

Oh well got the point , thought this game would be a tough one . Toews almost got her done there . Dach was great ,oh if had got that one late ,what a storybook ending . He really is looking like he may be something special . Saad got to get back to shooting 1st mentality ,and DBC got to get off that top PP .
Big game tomorrow ,hope the boy's are ready ...

Dach is incredible for his age. Can’t believe there’s still some that don’t want him up with the Hawks.

Pick a lane. They either suck or are a playoff team. You're giving me whiplash over here.

I hardly think 16 points counts as incredible. I just want to see steady progress from him and Boqvist this season so both are ready to make big leaps next season.

Oh and I was and am thrilled with the pick of Dach.

How much better would you - would we all - have felt if Toews’ OT shot had gone in instead of clanking off the crossbar?

An inch there, an inch by Dumba off the crossbar and then off Crawford’s back instead of going over the net....

It’s (frank)ing hockey.

Don't disagree, but...parity.

Also, it's not like they're going to run the table the rest of the season. They came out flat and really didn't deserve any points. To get one is a bit of a victory and has them keeping pace with others in the race.

Nothing's guaranteed and the points against BOS are just as important.

Next 6 games we’ll be lucky to get 4 points

I didn’t know the schedule was that brutal after Boston.

Well, it was fun while it lasted...

It was actually a bigger game tonight, although we want points against the east, they’re not as important. Let’s see how we measure up against the big bad Bruins.

I think one time he laughed at a comment someone made. Moderate sign of joy.

Well, not really. The points against your direct competition is the best way to gain any ground. The possibility exist that even if they beat Boston, they gain no ground.

Points are points, tho.

Oh God.....if they play hapless heartless hockey again tomorrow it will be another ugly game. Expect 50 shots against tomorrow night Robin !!!

Colliton has lost me. He's had plenty of time to make his adjustments on player ice times and I just don't know what on earth he's thinking sometimes. 3 on 3 requires possession and speed, yet he never uses Kubalik and used the slowest forward on the team in Strome tonight.
I'd rather have Debrincat on the ice 100% over Strome.....and where was Boqvist ??

This team was not prepared to play tonight and that's on Colliton as well. That was the worst first period of the season and that is a disgrace. 2 lucky goals in the 3rd got them the point as CC saved their butts all night.

As for Bowman.....he better show that he can make a smart addition or 2 at the deadline or he's letting this team down.
Youth and Speed is still desperately needed.

Carolina gave up a six spot tonight, they have two #1’s, two #2’s, and two #3’s, so options there.

The Hawks have fewer RW's than anyone in either conference legitimately still chasing a playoff spot.

Kane let this team down tonight. We could really use him.
- SimpleJack

Kane should wear a sign saying "Hey guys go fight for the puck, and when you get it, pass it to me, I will be over here". Kane got the tripping penalty early in the game, and what did he do ? He just stood there, and Hawks did not have the puck yet. What did he do in overtime ? He took his time getting out of the offensive zone, then the Hawks got the puck and had to wait to move forward because Kane was too lazy to skate over the blue line. The list goes on and on. And it wasn't just THIS game.

Why is Gus their d-man out ther 3x3?

They had possession until he turned it over.

- StLBravesFan

Gus is out there in the OT because the Hawks are showcasing him. Trying to squeeze a 4th rounder from someone.

I still can’t believe Saad. What a moron. We have that guy instead of Panarin? What a (frank)ing joke. Zero skill whatsoever. Just fast and gives a lot of effort. Makes me sick.
- SimpleJack

One things for sure, we wouldn't have Panarin now so what's your tired old point?
