How does one prove that Player X would have been better suited either playing more in Juniors or AHL, or playing immediately in the Show?

For Dach, if he becomes a mediocre player, how will you know he would have become a better player if he did another year in Juniors?

Why in gods name would we remove Dach from our roster with the way we’re currently playing? That’s asinine. He belongs in the NHL. Sending him down would accomplish absolutely nothing and weaken our roster.

If a player is capable and ready to play in the NHL - it's OK for him to play in the NHL regardless what comments from the peanut gallery recommend. Dach is capable and ready. Period.

Wrong answer. Although I will give you that I got no idea how they got on every stadium's mix track .... back in the day it was $#%ing Vanilla Ice.

One play where he made the wrong decision at the blue line. Turned the wrong way. Then stopped chasing and hung his partner out to dry. He gets beat in the corners pretty much regularly and even worse, his stick is up in the air so he can't even delay a pass once he is beat. His pinches are Gus like. He is not good.

Lehner isnt a guy you overpay to keep. The Hawks do not have problems finding goaltenders. What good is a #1 goalie if the rest of the team blows?

I don't disagree about Lehner, you don't pay him what he wants in fear of losing him. Offer contract he declines, trade him for more assets, if he hits free agent market you wait and see.

The entire last series was a joke. I didn't know they play collage football rules. Why the refs blew the play dead after Mahones left the protected area is beyond me.

49ers coach Shanahan should be taking the criticism. He cost his team the game with these 2 critical errors:

1. His handling of their last possession of the 1st half(not using timeouts, not taking advantage of all that time, not attempting to score, etc).

2. Not running the ball when they crossed midfield and got a new set of downs just after the 2 minute warning in the 4th quarter. He inexplicably called 2 straight passing plays, and then obviously was forced to pass yet again on 3rd and long/4th and long.

Hey Elbows, tell me again about this line (from Powers in The Athletic).

Kirby Dach looks like he might be a great fit for the second line alongside Saad and Patrick Kane. The line was on the ice for both of the Blackhawks’ goals and had a 54.17 Corsi percentage and a 60.32 expected goals percentage in 11:28.
