A little more stand up in the neutral zone and less track meet until Muzz and Rielly get back & they should be ok...

If the decision is made to try and go deep this year, turning Ceci into Travis hamonic would be a damn good start. He ticks off more than one box when it comes to problems requiring addressing on the leafs blueline.

A great dynamic offensive F group but very little work ethic playing team D. Other than Engvall Marner & Kap not much else is there. I could be wrong but not far off if I am.

Leafs seem to talk a lot to teams but it usually never amounts to anything. So my questions are, Are the leafs truly looking at Georgiev and maybe Kreider if he was to wave to a contender? Do they actually make a trade?

Contender is a bit too much. Don’t see the Leafs parting with the assets needed to get both. A back-up makes a ton of sense. Contending it’s getting there but work yet to do. Sandin looks to be one piece but more is needed yet. This offseason when the dust settles on how the D is built will be interesting.

This is a good post. I get the reason for all the back passes to keep possession, and it can be effective. Problem with all the extra passes, it can be anticipated by opponents and turnovers in the offensive zone and neutral zone often lead to odd man rushes.

I loved how you responded to that moron Sens fan Brian Vallentgoed who requested the Leafs play Ceci more.
