This team is incapable of getting a win when it needs it at home. Going back to last season whenever they finally get a nice run going and get within striking distance of a playoff spot they CHOKE at home in games they should be able to win. It’s pathetic watching the same thing over and over again. Great on the road but awful at home.

This one is on Lehner. Worst performance of the season. Worst possible time. We needed this win. He should be beating himself up.

How many teams are front of them? 5-6? Until there is less than 3, they odds are stacked against them.

Assuming the loss tonite, adjusted for games-in-hand - Hawks (3 above NHL-.500] are one behind Preds and Jets (both 4 above), two behind Vegas (5 above), 3 behind Arizona (6 above).

Enough games left (31) to overcome that if they can get through a tough February. Odds? Probably against them - but I’m expecting them to make it interesting.

Too many soft plays just like that one where he was looking to make a play instead of clearing the puck. Florida is the better team tonight and the fact that Lehner isn't having his usual great game is compounding the Hawks poor execution.

Still 20 minutes to play but if the Hawks go on to lose the game - it will be 10 days to have this one to chew on. I don't mind a loss - they're not going to win them all - but a loss followed by a 10 day layoff - brutal.

They aren't making the playoffs.

Tough night for Lehner ,every player will have a tough game .That said when it happens and you have another elite goalie on the bench ,you should waste little time in pulling the hook out .
HAWKS are not going to win every game ,but if they keep winning more then they lose the playoffs are still very much in sight .I don't understand Kubilik not being on the top PP. Get a quick one to start , and the dreaded two goal lead appears ..GO HAWKS !!!

The Pacific has 4 teams tied with 57 points which kinda skews the number but this team isn't good enough to make the playoffs.

They have some nice pieces moving forward and Bowman needs to make deals to add to that. Not chase the playoffs.

You and Jack - incredible.

They’ve won (assuming this loss) 12 of 18, coming off of a five game winning streak, AND played the right way - according to the stats (given up fewer shots, chances, and goals) and the eyes.

And Colliton should get credit for at least part of it.

And some here (not excluding you) are one toke over the ledge.

Agreed. Let's see if he holds himself accountable for this one. He's provided plenty of goalie wins this year, this is a goalie loss and he better talk to it post game.

Let's go Stan.....you have PLENTY of resources (like never before) to make a couple of trades to bolster the top 6 and a RH dman. Cap space due to injuries, 2 Goalies available and extra veteran forwards that are expendable. What kind of GM are you ?????
