Should’ve done the pub today after those 2 trash games instead of missing the Canuck game. Priority issues. Hockey>NFL any day. |

Niners gonna squash KC
Going to be the usual overhyped 2 weeks of lead up as usual. KC cannot run. Their D will be exposed. The NFC is the real deal.
Going out on a limb but feck it 31-10 Frisco |

In addition...
Kelce is banged up & will be a non factor.
Sherman will own his side of the field.
Hill be neutralized.
The Niner’s front 4 will dictate the game.
7 in coverage finishes the deal.
KC D going to have a long long day.
Reid goes on a diet...
Mahomes will be eaten alive he is no Russell. |

KC did outrush the Titans , but you're right they really aren't a running team. They did it today because they felt they could score on any drive and shortened the game on Tennessee even more. They don't have to run, as long as Mahomes can scramble for the odd first down.
Say Sherman can cover Kelce man to man, who's going to cover Tyreek? They still have 3 other weapons after that. Jimmy G gonna have to throw the ball to win the SB, because KC can score on most drives even against that SF D. Mahomes is like a Marino that can keep the D honest with his own feet. |

Posted the morning before they took over 1st place in their division. Not sure if the guy even looked at the western standings before posting his article.
Based on what’s happening in the division so far, it’s a crapshoot regardless of what his math says. |

A waste to have Sherman on Kelce. He plays the same side every down.
JG just has to play smart & let the game come to him.
Only chance KC has imo if turnovers go their way.
I like Mahomes but he hasn’t played a D like SF that can smother an offence.
KC D isn’t going to hold up.

Kelce is one of the top targets in the league so I'd disagree that if Sherman can blanket him it's a waste. Sherman can't keep up with Hill, but he's big and physical so the All-Pro TE makes sense.
On the other side of the ball it's really Kittle and Sanders as receivers but they have one hell of a run game. KC can score on anyone in 2 minutes but they often shoot themselves in the feet. If KC can stop the run JG will have to win it with his arm. |

I don’t think it will be a route at all for SF like others on here. KC has been killed by bad D the last few years, but this year they stepped it up. They just kept Henry — who ran through the great Pats D and Ravens D — to be a non-factor. SF has more size but KC is faaaast, going to cause headaches all over the field.
Mahomes is much better than Garapolo, basically going to come down to the front lines for each team.
I’ll take KC to win though. If Seattle almost/should have won two against SF, the Chiefs have a better overall team with a similar QB that can score at will.

All good except KC hasn’t faced a D like SF.
Sherman doesn’t have to keep up with Hill. 7 in coverage will do that. Kelce will faces the same thing. It will come down SF D saying beat us with the others or your feet Mahomes. I don’t like his chances when SF will control the game on both lines. |

KC probably should have won last year as well. They do shoot themselves in the foot. I give the edge to the 49'ers on the front lines but the Chiefs have more at the skill positions. I think the coaches are the two best offensive minds in football. |

They didn’t win just like the Seahawks didn’t against the Pats. The only skill position for KC that matters in this game will be QB. RB isn’t anything to worry about. If right & the front 4 does as I expect it won’t matter about KC’s receivers when Mahomes has no time to look downfield all day. |

Mahomes has faced both the NE D and the Ravens D over the past two years, among others. I don't think the 49'ers have faced an offense like KC's though, the closest being NO's where they gave up over 40 points (with injuries).
KC can score on any drive. |
