I would have liked to be a fly on the wall when Quinn had his "conversations" with Hank.
I really am curious to see how this situation with the 3 goalies plays out and ultimately, how it ends... |

With only 2 games remaining until the all star break, and more realistically only 1 for Lemeuix, why chance re-injuring his hand? Let him rest the 2 games, it will give him a full additional 2 weeks. |

Likely range on Oiler's Kassian contract extension: four years, with an AAV of $3.25-$3.5 million. |

I do think they'll send Shestyrokin back down to Hartford after tonight's game
it doesn't really make sense for him to be here
Georgiev will play tuesday, and then there are no games until January 31st, while Hartford has a couple of games and Shesty wil also play in AHL all-star game
then he gets called back up in February when the Rangers have a load of games, they have one of busiest months I can remember |

with 2 to play till Feb, it seems the next 2 dictate what our outlook for the rest of the season will be , alot of great scenarios building to a crescendo by the T D .I like the messages coming out of D Q , not just another game in a long season,Its the signs that tell mgmt to step up & ADD to a dynamic roster growing each game .with our 1st yr & rooks getting a recharge from All star& wk off ,i am so excited to see us springbd next 2 into a great Feb/MAr.
Fis hds lose a dagger to the heart type loss? if they lose today to Car & tues ..
you have an official dilemma on L I ?
All we need is 5 gm losing streak to any of the teams above ? our schedule seems to be set up for a run , we start after the break with back to back with Det .
L G R one at a time ,savor & enjoy ..onto the next ..... |

HANK exerpts from D Q tells you Mgmt is handling the goalie situation rotation ,its a choice to D G either Igor or Georgie girl, thats the only option he has .
Mgmt i think hopes the LOoonngg down time will show HANK his future if he stays , i hope the media keeps comparing Eli & HANK , its gotta eat at an elite like him, he grasps the pro scene & is probably waiting for a travel bonus to leave, NYR mgmt is fully committed to the new "IRON CURTAIN" duo ,but keep Georgiev rumors in play
with shesty exempt & protecting Georgiev ,we have no issue to keep HANK any longer
other wise i expose him like Pitt did with Fleury
May he go to a team & get a last chance at Lord Stanley, this is not the way to go out after 15 yr s on top ,and getting close 1 time .... |

I disagree, maybe tonight scratch him again but he will be a ball of fire coming back and that energy will really help in a big rivalry game again vs the Isles Tuesday. |

Toronto should be panicking like hell, they can't afford to miss the playoffs this year especially considering their first round pick goes to Carolina (if it's a top 10 pick, it gets moved to 2021) but likely would be between 14-16 if they miss playoffs)
they need some reliable goaltending, they need Georgiev, we have them by the balls |

depending on situation with injuries & P O position,a lot of players you think aint tradeable just might be a plug in a desperate G M's mind to get him in P O
as i read , Tor. is definitely on hot seat & getting desperate by the day , 2 main D down ,out of P O's as of now , & there are others , Feb & Mar are the home stretch with most of Feb as a window to needs & deals ,I see us moving some vets for the $$ save & 1 big deal to get a top 6 wing ,Buchny Howden Hijak & D prospects are in play ,I can t wait to watch this unfold & Know NYR has a lot of contingency plans to handle what ever direction this goes ... |

The player I want from Toronto is Nylander and I just don't see them giving him up. I would rather do a larger trade where Georgi is part of a package to get a more significant player or players/picks.
Lets get a: Jonas Brodin from Minnesota
JT Compher from Colorado
Robert Thomas from St. Louis
Ryan Murray and/or Josh Anderson from Columbus
Kevin LaBanc from San Jose
Hampus Lindholm and/or Ondrej Kase from Anaheim.
IMO that is how we maximize the return for Georgi---- include him with a Kreider, Skjei + prospects or even draft picks to land a difference maker for our roster.
Go get 'em Gorton! |

How bad does that Bobrovsky contract look. He has a 3.22 GAA with a .898 SV%. Getting 10 million a year for 6 more years. Yikes. |
