Lardass played very well again ,biggest part of the PK . Good all around game by all the players up and down the line -up . HAWKS played both the Jet's and Ref's ,that was minor league officiating at it worst . Kane said it best , glad to get it over with, and it been a Hell of a ride. Dam right kid ..

Hockey is a great game. Someone like Gus can look like he is lost or disinterested for 30+ games. Then the light goes on and he looks like serviceable. Don’t get me wrong he is still trade bait and weak over all. But much better than 3 weeks ago.

Maybe the light goes for Nylander next. Stranger things have happened.

The defense is much better. I wonder how good they would be if they had a real coach with a NHL defensive system.

You maybe right ,it will be very tight next year . Drake keeps playing like he is ,I think getting him on a decent 2 year 2 mil deal would be doable . Had a tough night ,but IMO not really his fault .

A matchup between the Pens and Hawks would be epic, it's amazing they never have met. That would be like the 1970s Steelers and Cowboys never meeting.

That is a no-brainer. The only reason the Penguins exist is because of the FIX. Bettman gave too much away to Mario for Pitt to lose that bet.
