The few good things Foley said tonite was on the PP and the 6x5 at the end - standing around, not moving.

Makes it real easy on the defense - don’t even get them tired out chasing.

The Hawks played pretty well. For as good as CC played - Talbot was one goal better.

Oh well - can't be disappointed with the effort and for the most part execution was good.

More concerned about Strome - looked like he twisted his ankle or knee and hopefully it's just a minor sprain.

Also we have to be at the top of league in terms of too many men on the ice penalties...seems like a consistent issue

Frustrating game to watch. The Hawks defense was great unfortunately our offense was helter skelter... Kane had his worst game in a long time( missed three shots that would light the lamp in most other games. With the exception of Toews and Kubalic our offense was inept. Big mistake by the coach for letting Dach and Nylander get on the ice the last two minutes. Furthermore, I would have kept Smith on the bench for the duration of the game after his second gaffe.

Hawks just a minor league team at this point. Playoffs ha !

If Laviolette was the coach, we’d be undefeated especially if Tom Wilson was also on the team.

Tough loss ,Crow played well so Dach .And Nylander did not bug me as mush as he usually does . Hope Strome is ok ,that would be real big loss . Time to kick Nashville well their down .. GO HAWKS !!!!

Same thing ,Tomas Mittal, What the (frank) is Rocky thinking letting his general manager hire this kid and then bring in 2 Rummies, The only coach behind that bench that knows what he’s doing is Mark Crawford. Would love to see him or hire Laviolette and take over this team sooner than later. They boo the live in poop out of this kid during the pregame introductions. Rocky and John have to be about ready to run their foot right up Bowmans ass for this move.

Thought Toews was excellent tonite. Missed Highmore with his relentless pressure. Super tough coming away with nothing.

Both Stan and JC will probably be relieved of their duties at seasons' end. Hopefully they are going to think long and hard about their replacements starting immediately and over the summer. Surprised that NSH let Laviolette go. Think Poile with his incessant need to always make trades, was the real culprit there.

The BlackHawks do not have he players right now. Nylander, Sikura, and Highmore should be in the AHL. I love Dach but he is super raw and inexperience. I hope it will not be too late once Saad and Cagulla come back but I think it will.

Playing devils advocate:

You know with all these injuries the team is suffering through, you know it’s unrealistic to fire either Bowman or Colliton. This is a lot of adversity for a new coach or any GM to go through and expect him to win or make the playoffs.

I suspect next season about the time the mustache was fired will be the same allotment for both SB and JC. With that said, I would suspect Peter Laviolette would be highly sought after from the higher ups be ready for a change.

This is true. The Hawks just don’t have the depth to sustain the level of injuries they’ve experienced this season. With a healthy roster they are a much better team, but it can still be argued that they are not good enough.

While I doubt Stan will acknowledge it, a major focus on this season has become the development of guys like Dach, Boqvist, Nylander, Gilbert and Sikura which isn’t a bad thing for the team’s long term success.
