I would not be surprised to see a trade next week. Canucks clearing cap space and 10 scouts at the game.

I think I remember you posting that jobs are on the line if playoffs are missed. I hope so. JB and team have tried a lot of different strategies to improve this team. Mixed results. Many strikeouts for a few home runs.

Either way, FA’s going to have some tough decisions this summer.

It depends, if they miss out on the wild card spot by a few points and are competitive right til the end then jobs are safe. If they are way out and show no fight then they clear house. I'm betting on the former scenario.

I wonder how serious FA is about playoffs this season. If they don’t make it, will he go ballistic and clean house or just accept it as growing pains?
- bloatedmosquito

It’d be hard for him to get rid of Benning considering how much he’s praised him on social media. Egg on the face doesn’t sit well with him and he doesn’t like the taste of crow

I wish FA would stay off social media. Canucks have a good period and he is on his knees slurping like there is no tomorrow. It is kind of hard to say at the end of they year "Canucks were fantastic but I am firing my coach.

Was browsing around HF(Whinerville) to read up on the Comets and Canuck prospects, but came across this whiner post that I have to admit was pretty spot on. Basically JB's stretch from April 2015 to April 2016 is what will ultimately cost jB his job when he iso eventually fired.

The list(edited version by myself since the original was exaggerated by a whiner)
1. Sbisa extension
2. Sutter trade
3. Gilman fired
4. Kassian for Prust
5. Unable to move Hamhuis or Vrbata at the TDL
6. The 2016 draft
7. Gudbranson trade
8. Eriksson signing (tried to sign Lucic as well)

That series of moves really put JB in a hole and put off a lot of Canuck fans.

I'll happily build around a 22 year old who's per 82 game averages so far in his career are:

33 goals
36 Assists
69 Points

The impatience some of you guys have is unreal. How many 22 year olds have a complete well-rounded game? Maybe we should ask the Sedins?

Come on. Throwing stats at me like that doesn’t address the question.

Yes this team needs scoring in a big way. No question. But it needs more than just a sniper in that position. This team needs players on its two top lines that are capable in all situations if it’s going to be competitive. The reason why BB has been sliding down the roster is if he ain’t scoring he ain’t doing much else.

He’s a blue ship trading piece that could fetch a return that this team desperately needs.

I've heard about FA's dealings in the real estate business, he's not afraid to back stab people

So you think he's done growing a player as a 22 year old?

Not only that but he plays a great all around game. He checks, backchecks and always works his ass off. He will have a long fruitful career...even if he isnt the next Brett Hull.

What?

You should have a word with JTM.

Everyone's on JT Miller's jock, I wonder what the "trade Boeser" group would think of 22 year old J.T. Miller on this team

1. Not that bad a move and really not many options at the time, inconsequential
2. Great trade, when healthy Sutter has been great...just has not been healthy, which is not JB's fault.
4. Kassian had major issues at the time and had to go. He has made a comeback..great for him but at the time it was the right, and only decision and probably saved Kassian's career.
6. Still TBD
7. Guddy was a mixed bag but what they got back for him was not that shabby...a wash.
8. Every GM makes a some mistakes. In hindsight it made sense.

And people in here think I'm too easy on JB

BB will never be a JTM in terms of playing style. Bad comparison.

Amuse me, what kind of return would Brock get during the season or say at the TDL? poops and giggles...

Kind of used his name as an example.

I have not contacted the Jets to see if they are interested. I guess I should have done that before posting.
