A few things.
1. I don't understand why Werenski hasn't been traded for a true NHL sniper. Yes he occasionally has some offensive ability..but if not for Jones on his line he would certainly be a negative impact on the team defensively.
2. When are they finally going to buy out Dubinski?
#. If one more person has to tell me how "good" Bjorkstrand is before this kid actually "performs" I'm going to lose my sh*t. Milano has twice the offensive upswing as Bjork.
3. Boone Jenner is a heart and soul guy paid like a top 6 winger. If his face off percentage wasn't as high as it is I wouldnt care to see him waived and sent to Cleveland.
4. YOU CANNOT BE A FORECHECKING TEAM ....IF YOU DONT CHECK! JArmo has done an excellent job of drafting players that dint fit Torts' style. And by his style I mean throw the puck in the corner no matter whats happening on the ice, spend a minute battling for it back and ending up with zero scoring chances. We have a whole bunch of soft euro's under 200lbs that lead with stick (which is fine) but will get zero hits. This team is boring on every level, the players have no idea how to score (GO TO THE NET!!!!!) and play with little or no passion most of the time. The last game against Pittsburgh is who this team can be, but its not who it is...and thats coaching.

Boone Jenner is getting paid what pretty much any third liner in today's league is making.
Also the exercise of forechecking can take a toll on any team, it's not something a team can do night in and night out. Before Bread, the cbj would forecheck and physically dominate any team, and on other nights Bob would just shut the door (hence the formula for that 10 game win streak).
Before we start throwing Werensky for another sniper that would probably leave, management needs to reassess where they stand on goaltending and the offence.
Clearly Korpi and Elvis have been utter failures ....and I don't see a quick fix unless a trade happens. Perhaps that is the most pressing concern, you can have all the fire power in the world, but if the back end can't get it done, the team is sputtering in mud.
