Toronto receives Hall.
Jersey receives Ceci, Hyman, Bracco, conditional 2nd round pick.
Pick turns into a 1st if leafs make it to the 2nd round, devils get an additional 3rd round pick if leafs make conference final.

Hall would be great for you guys but do you want to lose the grit of Hyman? |

I feel like Buffalo should be more concerned about stopping goals rather than scoring them. |

Penguins deal...
TO NJ: 1st, Calen Addison and Alex Galchenyuk
TO PIT: Taylor Hall
Addison is not the best prospect relative to what other teams may be able to offer, but he’s the type of dman Shero loves.
Galchenyuk would be for cap space. Shero can always flip him for other futures at the deadline. He could also be a cheap replacement for Hall if he actually wakes up for the Devils.
FWIW I’m totally aware other teams can put together better deals. |

Clarkson and Horton are on that roster.
They're LTIR, and don't count towards the cap. |

That toronto trade is so undesirable. It promises the devils get nothing at all for Hall that will help the team or drive a line.
Hyman and Ceci are pieces contending teams might want as complimentary pieces but I cant see a team rebuilding trading their best chip for a package that brings them back not one piece to sell to the fan base. |

They are in division they have to pay a way higher price then any team not in division. |

Too much injury risk for too much cap hit. Never shown the ability to lead his team out of the basement. Pass. |

Buffalo sends
Marco Scandella (last year of 4 million dollar contract)
Ryan Johnson (2019 31st overall pick)
2019 top 10 protected 1st round pick
2020 2nd round pick, becomes a 1st if Hall signs before 7/1/20, or if the Sabres make it to the Finals.
For Taylor Hall (cap retain to offset cap hit)
If sabres finish in bottom ten, 2020 1st is guaranteed. Conditions for 2020 second push to 2021. |

Why did Leafs make those trades and add them then?...did they receive some sort of cap relief or add draft picks? Never could figure why they were on LTIR for them? |

Name one player who has ever led a team out of the basement. |
