Why doesnt Yzerman take Vancouver's Loui Ericksson's contract? As compensation Wings get Woo, Juolevi & Dipietro. Wings accelerate rebuild. Ericksson gets less travel, less taxes and way more anonymity in public. It opens spots for Vancouvers surplus of wingers. Canucks take ufa Howard and Glendening as salary back.
