The Devils are asking for roughly 3 arms and 2 legs for Hall. Doesn't seem like Botterill's style to trade a lot for a pending UFA that is going to cost a lot to sign long term. He seems to prefer giving spare parts for that kind of player.

As much as I love Hall, his contract would scare me for the same reason I get pooped on here for my opinion on Jeffrey.

I also think the need for a veteran 2C out weighs the need for another winger but I’m a galaxy brain.

I’m with you. I rather see the center taken care of. And having more money tied up in the wing position with the deals for Samson, monte, dahlin coming up could be problematic.

As 89 has said, you can only pay so many people $9 million

it’ll be manageable
And it would give us 3 lines i think we could count on to score

Mitts looks much more comfortable on the wing. I think his lack of top end speed will restrict him from being a good Center.
