Well, the Habs brass finally did something...They put Keith Kinkaid on waivers...

The bold thinking and leadership the Habs need right now.

What a useless move. They're obviously going to bring up Lindgren and now his confidence will get destroyed. I get that it won't matter as much because they don't expect him to become a starting goaltender, but why not just leave Kinkaid in Montreal and play him more? Not just back to backs, give him more of the "easy" games. It's not like Price is much better anyway.

how are they not mortified by the optics of this? the house is on fire and Marc Bergevin is changing the batteries in the smoke alarm.

I'm expecting a Bergevin dumb move/trade anytime soon.

Chances are it'll be an insignificant move if he does make one. It's not a very good timing for a huge trade, especially considering the position his team is currently in.

true

but giving a him a few games in Mtl would be the end of the world either. then send him back to Laval. you know, whenever Kinkaid has found his confidence back.

So it would be something like "now that you know what it's like to lose in a pathetic manner, go back to Laval, and win!"...? lol

Primeau allowed 14 goals in his last 3 games, he might be a perfect fit after all

-Tank for Byfield/Lafreniere/Perfetti

-Trade Weber (gets you a nice haul from a contender)

-Price to Seattle (closer to home - BC, played junior in Washington state and wife is from the area)

-Trade other players like Petry especially, Tuna if the price is right and Uncle Nate

This loads you up for the 2020 draft to either have a yuge draft or make a huge splash via trade, a draft in which is in your own backyard

Why not trade for a legitimate goalchie so Price can relax a bit and not play 60 games...

So, let's go with: Price and Weber, 2 million salary each held, Hudon, conditional 2nd Rd pick (on Hall re-sign)

For : Subban, Blackwood, and Hall, 2nd Rd pick

Since Price and Weber are such HUGE problems.

Blackhawks will play with 1 less player on the roster because of injuries/cap issues.
