If Pekka gets the start, he better have a short leash. The Preds need to avoid getting in a hole early. I'd let him rest through the holiday and come back after and see what he has. They need to capitalize on the momentum from the Blues games, so let the kid play. He's on a roll.

Oh, there's definitely something going on in the room with Turris. There has to be at this point. (Maybe between Lavy and the man himself, I don't know) While I can't confirm it, there were rumors that Turris made a stink last year when he got benched, and even on his most optimistic days, there's no way Kyle could've possibly looked himself in the mirror and tell himself he was absolutely putrid last season. If he was upset then, you could only imagine how he's reacting now after being benched again after not playing all that terrible. I mean guys are being called up from the AHL to play over him, and that's telling in itself if nothing else. I get it, Kyle doesn't have the skill set to play in the bottom six, but with Arvy out for a while, there's no reason not to give Kyle another chance on the second line... Unless Lavy has just simply lost all trust in Turris. If he's trying to send him a message, I'm pretty sure it's already been received.

I hope to see some carry over from the two games with St. Louis in tonight's game with Vegas. It was good to see the guys play solid defensively without completely sacrificing the offense for a change... I know the Blues are kind of a slow team without Vlady in the lineup, and the Preds D appears vulnerable to teams with a lot of speed but... It's hard to beat the champs twice and not feel good about it.

I know you have to take anything EK says with a grain of salt, but how the heck was Turris on his list of 20 most tradeable players? In what bizzaro universe is that contract the slightest bit movable let alone top 20? I guess we came dream though.

Turris needs to be sent to the KHL, eat the loss and get a real ringer in there. Pekka is either worn down or hurt. We need to ride the hot goalie until the cool off. Anyone recall Mason being sat for Volkoun return.......
