Oh… I did mention post game drama. Questions about Kyle Turris were asked, questions were answered… follow ups were asked… responses given and the presser was ended. I’ve watched a lot of these post game pressers, the tension was evident on these questions. Kudos to Adam Vingan and Joe Rexrode for the questions.

I absolutely loved Turris when he was in Ottawa, but man oh man did the sens dodge a bullet with him. can't believe how far he's fallen since arriving in Nashville

I didn't think Turris was playing that bad so far, at least not as bad as he was last year. He'd even scored some goals. If this is a petty Lavy thing, he needs to grow up. If it's something else, trade him. Oh wait, we can't because of that ridiculous contract.

Let him play.

As far as the game, two in row, though they almost let this one go late. I have zero faith in shootouts, but Forsberg and Carr bailed us out. They have to keep it going now.

Last night was fun. It always is when two teams clearly don't like each other. It was the right kind of chippy and nasty last night, not the wrong kind, like that cheap dirty Betuzzo crap from Saturday. They showed some guts, and it was good to see. It did suck that they nearly coughed up the game late, but other than that, it's hard to find anything to complain about. The Preds played maybe their best hockey of the year last night, considering the opponent and the situation. It felt good to pull that one out... The Preds deserved to win, and we haven't been able to say that all that much this season.

As for Turris... I don't get it either. He wasn't lighting it up, but I don't feel like he was a determent either. It is true that his skill set is not suited for a bottom six role, so if he's being benched because he can't crack the top six fine but... With Arvy out for the next month, there's no reason not to slide Turris back up there, unless he turns into a golden turd again. Lavy does have a history though. When certain guys find their way to his dog house they tend to stay there a while.
