Flyers won two shootouts in a row. The world will explode within the next 24 hours.

Great weekend. The couturier line is carrying them. They need results from their other lines or else it will come to an end. Just blown away by the effort on the back to back. Well deserved off day tommorow.

I'm really loving AV so far. No nonsense type of guy. Loved that he acknowledged giving the 4th line more minutes late in a game because they were playing well. That kind of accountability should hopefully wake some of the other guys up.

We finally have a reputable coaching staff. We haven’t been able to say that since Lavy Left.

No one could have predicted what has happened in the last 4 games. The team seems to have gotten quicker. They are developing an identity of total team defense since the firepower is not there yet ( thanks to some vets that need to get going). Goaltending is also stepping up with key saves.
Love that Phil Myers!!

Marchand is such a tool. Why has he been behaved lately, the Bruins won a lot. Once things don’t go his way he shows his true colors, what an A hole

Toughest guy in the league when the other player isn't looking.

Nothing to complain about right now in Flyers land..

TK is flying and I couldn't be more excited to see him keep growing.
Right now the Coots line is this teams number 1 line and I have no issue with that.
Also what else needs to be said about both Hart and an obviously healthy Elliot.
FInally AV is showing why he is an established winning coach but also why having an established coaching staff is a good thing .

Can't remember the last time I had this much fun watching this team.

This team is fun to watch again. Almost every game is competitive lately. We played two poweerhouse teams, particularly boston, and came out with a W having tired legs.
This is not the same team anymore. We are going to be a hard team to play against for the firet time in almost a decade!
And all of our tops players are the young players right now... and coots, as always
Right now its hard to not be excited about this team. Haven't felt like this is a decade either!
Exciting hockey is back!!

This. They actually make me want to tune in. Last few years, I didn't really mind much if I missed a game. Now, I actually want to watch every game.

Also, as a hockey fan, I still hate shootouts. I think it's a total sham and I'm still trying to find the "casual fan" that tunes in all of a sudden because of the shootout. However, I no longer dread them. They still make me uneasy, but with a ray of hope.

Only guy more annoying in that organization is Jack Edwards. Center Ice only had Bos. feed and I was forced to listen to that whiner until I found a N WASH sportspak channel that had the Flyers feed.
Jack is the absolute worst to listen to ( runnerup honors go to Staggy)

Edwards is my #1 because of his over-the-top homerism, but I actually could never stand Rick Jeanneret. I understand he's been there since the 80s and that Sabres fans love his commentary, but he sounds like a turkey with a mouth full of marbles whenever he gets excited. But "MAY DAY!" is an awesome call.

Said this last night, what a homer, lean towards your team don’t slobber on them. At least the group in between periods were a little more honest.

Also, that was probably a "Welcome to the NHL" kind of game for Farabee. I think the league is starting to notice how good he is and are paying his some extra attention. There were 5 or 6 times last night where they seemed to (legally) target the kid to see how he'd respond. Two times in particular Chara seemed to really go at him.D

I actually like it that he doesn't back down, and he's going to learn to deal with that stuff going forward.

On the opposite side I always found the Canes announcers really fair.

Agree... and I absolutely loved that chip shot SO goal. I want to believe he put it exactly where he wanted it
