Did your amazing source actually tell you Hall would ālove to play thereā? Or did you just throw that in there yourself?
1 place I do know he loves is NJ, because he actually said so himself. Ray will pay him whatever it takes to keep him. But if his poop head agent tells him to wait to sign anywhere until he hits UFA to test the market....then Ray will trade him before the trade dead line.
If Hall decides to move on it will be to play closer to home in Canada.
If this worse case scenario happens...Iām sure Ray will get something in return for him. Thereās no way Ray will let Hall walk at UFA and get nothing in return like Lou did when he lost poor homesick Parise for nothing!
Iām still pissed at Lou for that debacle! |

Devils should ask for Girard & Jost and a pick... or instead of a pick the G prospect Werner. |
|
|
|
Iād imagine the asking price is something like Girard, Kaut and a 1st. Maybe Bowers over Kaut if thatās what Jersey Likes. If they can extend him then maybe they ask for more, throw someone like Timmins/Kamenev in the deal. But imagine a line of Hall-Mackinnon-Rantanen š |

Something like this would be very palatable as a Devils fan. I think something of the form Girard, a young roster player/pretty good prospect and an early pick would be very fair.
Also I feel like any trade will come with an extension. |
|
|
|
Yeah i think Colorado would be reluctant to include Girard, but I think that if they did s deal would get done. Colorado is in one of the best places in regards to young players/Prospects. Byram, Makar (Both potential future Norris winners) As well as Timmins, Newhook, Kamanev, Kaut and Jost is still very young and had lots of room to improve.
Crazy to think a few years ago people were calling for Sakics head and now he looks like a mad genius. |

I think Colorado is the best place for Hall. He would fit in really well with MacKinnon and their style of play. I donāt think they include Sam Girard. I can see a pkg with Bowers, Timmins, 2020 first round pick. That should get it done. Not sure if there would be extra consideration for an extension. |

If Hall was an RFA he would be a big part of the 2020 RFA war. The 2019 War was supposed to include at least 6 guys holding out and lots of offer sheets. Hockey would be forever changed. But maybe 2020 will be a UFA War? |

New Jersey should sell ASAP , get the most they can for him because he is walking |

If we have to give up Jost...fine. But NOT JT Compher for less than one year of Hall. |

I can't wait for the rumor chart!!!! |

I thought I read/heard somewhere that if Shero does trade Hall, he wants to do a sign-and-trade type of trade. If that's the case your getting Hall probably for 7-8 years. Not sure if you want that either. |

I don't understand why Hall wouldn't want to extend long-term in New Jersey. It's an exciting team with Hughes and Hischier down the middle. Plus it's a fun city to be in with very passionate fans. š¤·āāļø |

Theyāre a coaching staff, a goalie and at least five defensemen away from realistically being able to compete. |

Of course Colorado is better than New Jersey as of today. That's not the point. Well if it were always that simple, half the teams in the league would have zero roster players. No body WANTS to play in Arizona, yet they have a full team iced every night. Imagine that! You don't think they'd all rather play for Tampa?
Point is; Hall has a good thing going in Jersey. He's the go to guy, and there's lots of up and coming support players around him. Nathan MacKinnon is a heck of a player, but there's nothing wrong with playing wing for Mr. Hughes either. |
