I’m no boomer, but I randomly yell at kids for stepping on the lawn. Doesn’t even have to be my lawn. Good times.

It was our parents that bred like rabbits. Not us.
- shack67

the breeding wasn't the problem... it was entitled shyte bags that resulted from the breeding...

and I know you know what generation that is...

(here's a hint - its the opposite of the greatest generation)

But Barrie is better than gardiner.
Hes being asked to do things he rarely did.
He'll come around.
Just in time to be traded

Each generation thinks the next one is spoiled. And that generation blames their parents for everything. When I was a teenager I was a hippie lite. Mostly just the long hair. Every where I went these old wieners would would yell hateful things out of their car windows.
Old people back then were nuts.

Barrie has been horrific and deserves nothing.

I get that a PP promotion may benefit him, but the powerplay itself has been disastrous. I don't see how adding a guy who hasn't scored a single goal and has been prone to giving up shorthanded rushes on the 2nd unit is going to do the team any favours...

actually the only thing that Boomers really should be blamed for is having too many kids...

and not telling them early enough that they are bumholes

Boomers = Muslim’s?

when I was younger - late teens thru mid-20s I didn't think much about my parents generation... they really didn't have anything to start with other than a work ethic or not... I accused the older boomers - I'm technically one of the youngest - for facking the economy and being completely self absorbed - which they were. 20% mtg interest rates in the early 80s, overpriced crap automobiles, insane important duties on foreign cars, and escalating house prices.... which was why I moved to Europe when I first got the opportunity.

when I returned to Canada a few years later - I realized how right I was - I didn't blame my parents generation, I blamed my older siblings who did spawn the single most entitled group of people to that point in time. I consciously use the word "spawn". In Canada the lasting legacy of the Older Boomers will be barely surviving Quebec separation, electing and allowing Mulroney to sell the country to the Yanks, erosion of the social support network - and a generation of over protected entitled weiners.

that spawn generation has given us institutionalized political correctness, overpriced and largely average coffee, beer that isn't really beer and just about nothing else.

that'swhy I live in the US,which is where I will remain until the next round of real estate pricing collapse in Canada - which will coincide with when the older boomers start aging out...

From what I understand the high housing prices is driven by foreign money. I don’t know if the boomers aging out will have the impact you predict.

I’m definitely no expert. I think it would be great if things normalized, especially in Greater Toronto. There’s no hope right now for younger people.
