San Jose would be much better if they could get any sort of solid goaltending.

Jones is awful and still has 4 years left on his contract. SJ has to seriously consider buying him out next season. SJ has such a talented to to be wasted because Jones or Dell cant stop a beach ball most nights.

Fun fact: Marleau is the only regular player in the lineup without a negative +/-

Just curious - how much do you all attribute this to the loss of little Joe? Has that just messed up the room?

Think of it this way, they essentially gave Karlsson the money it would cost to keep Pavelski and Donskoi. That's a much better investment IMO. Yes they lost a lot of goals, but Joe was slow last year and he hasnt gotten any faster in Dallas.

This isn't their problem.

Their problem is they have too much money tied up in goalies who cant stop the puck and the worst part is they can only trade Jones to 3 teams (who, honestly, probably dont want him). So now you've gotta find someone to take on Dell and his $1.9M and give you a third string goalie (or maybe, just maybe, a guy like Greiss or Howard or Anderson). Maybe Wilson has accumulated some favors over time but I doubt it. Greiss and Josh Ho Sang for Dell and a pick/prospect.. good luck!!

The solution lies within and it starts with Martin Jones. Getting his game on track should be priority #1, 2 and 3 for this team.

Doug Wilson Can't sit on his hands, Because he's usually in a tanning bed & they might get burned..
The Sharks need a fresh start from the GM, Scouting Dept, Coaches on down. How long has Wilson been GM Here? Plus they don't have a 1st round pick so I'm sure Ottawa is happy..
Who's going to win more games this season, The Sharks or the Golden State Warriors ?

First off I have a outdated name, and I don’t want little Joe back. I think now Simek is back we throw Burns back at forward. To help spark some goals. Also would help keep down odd man rushes. Maybe I’m only focusing on his bad plays. I keep hearing the announcers say he’s playing solid D? My dream would be him and Kane throwing the body around. As for goalie I have no clue just hopes and prayers. But I really came here to post about Couture getting the C. Look I like him as a player but that was a bad move. It should of went back to Thornton for a year. Who Rallied us back in the playoffs? If a captain has an effect on a team, I don’t see the team wanting to look up to Couture. Stats and work ethic Are there, I just don’t Think the personality works

I imagine this is not the way he wanted to go out. At least he gave it a shot!
