The O-line has been fine. Run-blocking has been well above average, and pass protection usually only breaks down when Allen holds the ball too long. Not that o-line depth is ever a bad thing, but I would say interior defensive line depth is a bigger need.

In 17 games, Josh Allen has 7 comeback wins for the Bills (would have been 8 if Clay would have caught the ball in the endzone in Miami last year).

The other 4 qb's drafted in 2018 rd 1 have a combined 8 comeback wins

I've honestly never seen a player people react to like this guy. Even on the field, opposing players seem to want to kill him.

There's no middle ground. He's either the messiah or the worst QB in the league. And it isn't even based on his play. Minds were made up before the draft.

Personally, I think he's got the typical problem every young QB has, which is information overload. There is just too much going on too fast. When it gets to the fourth quarter, he seems to be able to tune that stuff out and just sling it. I almost would like to see the bills just go shotgun no huddle to start a game to get him in the zone of snap-drop back- plant- gun it-repeat.

There is a lot of merit to this. Most teams simplify things on both sides of the ball late in the game due to fatigue, and the fact that one small missed detail can be costly. Defenses become easier to read too. I think Allen benefits from that as well.

If the Bill's do it, AJ Green and Carlos Dunlap for a 2nd and 5th this year and 3rd the following.

They were kind of discussing this on WGR today when I was on my way back from lunch. Tasker said that you have to stop being afraid of failing and just do what got you where you are in the first place. Remove the fear of failure. Maybe he sees in all these comeback games that he's already failing at that point. I guess he really has nothing to lose based on what Tasker was saying. (he said it much better and explained it much more in depth than I am, it was interesting so I'd suggest going back and finding it in the audio vault if you want to know more.)

If Ullmark shows me something this year I'd resign him. If he is about the same as last year, he's just a backup in my opinion, and I'd be looking for someone. A guy to split time in 2020-2021 with Hutton, and then to split time with UPL in 2021-2022.

Could be that guy is Ullmark, but I need to see something more first.

Hard to imagine Ullmark not being qualified this year. It's set up well to have the 3 of them compete. UPL can play himself into the mix.
