so when do you let Ullmark go?
Hutton on contract though 20-21

So ideally he steps in when we let Hutton go?

- hubie

If Ullmark shows me something this year I'd resign him. If he is about the same as last year, he's just a backup in my opinion, and I'd be looking for someone. A guy to split time in 2020-2021 with Hutton, and then to split time with UPL in 2021-2022.

Could be that guy is Ullmark, but I need to see something more first.

I'd like a stud TE. Brown is good. Beasley has been a bit disappointing but generally ok. the depth guys are fine. Knox and Sweeney aren't really threats in the passing game yet.

A matchup problem TE would be great on roll outs and red zones and third downs.

No idea if anyone is available, but as long as we are all wishing for things...

- matty12345

Eifert and Green for a ... 3?
Hooper if he could be had ?
not a stud but Jesse james out of Det is an upgrade
Charles Clay..... Kidding

haven't considered a TE, but not a bad idea. OJ Howard?? I would also be kicking the tires on a LB (no clue which one), the aforementioned WR and a DE (Denver please answer the phone and don't hang up).

Well we’ve played 9 games this year. Ullmark will have another 28-32 games to play to help formulate an opinion on.

If they were to trade for a tight end, who becomes inactive? They already sat Sweeney last week. They absolutely love Lee Smith's blocking ability. That means one of Tyler Kroft or Dawson Knox would have to come out.

Not necessarily because of the above, but I have a feeling the Bills stay put.

Ben Allbright said the Bills were not involved with Sanders negotiations.

He's been saying for a long time that Pats and Niners were heavily involved in trying to get him. Pats went with Sanu, so Niners turned around and got Sanders.

He also says Kenyan Drake is available, probably because of Mark Walton. FWIW.

Eifert is so overrated. He's always hurt and way back when he wasn't he was never anything special IMO.

Hooper would probably not be available and if he was would cost a lot.

doesn't mean they're not going after AJ Green, though Cincinnati doesn't histroically sell off players

I have to think selling to buffalo so they can make a playoff run while you can't is the most degrading thing in the NFL. Most GM's probably can't bring themselves to do it.

Yes, but each te has its own skill set I want a guy who takes the good from each into one guy.

I heard Gronk is available lol

The O-line has been fine. Run-blocking has been well above average, and pass protection usually only breaks down when Allen holds the ball too long. Not that o-line depth is ever a bad thing, but I would say interior defensive line depth is a bigger need.

3 of the Bills' next 5 opponents will most likely need to beat them in order to save their seasons. I'm counting the Broncos in that mix. I want to see them put together some wins against desperate teams.

That's been an issue league-wide though. The number of penalties being called is ridiculously high. I'm not saying their the stellar, but, as constructed, they're more than good enough to win.

Here's a cool stat since this board loves stats:

In 17 games, Josh Allen has 7 comeback wins for the Bills (would have been 8 if Clay would have caught the ball in the endzone in Miami last year).

The other 4 qb's drafted in 2018 rd 1 have a combined 8 comeback wins

Josh - flaws = yes, balls = HELL YES

the timing of the penalties are killing the drives and momentum IMO

"After making five catches for 83 yards during Sunday’s 31-21 win over the Miami Dolphins at New Era Field, Brown has 473 receiving yards in the Bills’ 5-1 start. That puts him on pace for 1,261 yards this season. If he gets there, he’d be the first Bills receiver to top 1,200 yards in a season since Lee Evans had 1,292 yards in 2006."

Sanders’ production was down because the Broncos are a run heavy offence. He was drawing the #1 DB every game as well hence why Sutton was getting the targets when there were some to be had.

Sanders would have been your best receiver, but arguing that at this point is moot.
